His book ' how man utd ruin my life', didnt ruin my life it made me. It gave me an even deeper love of my club and my birthday place. It gave me the sence of gallows humour which I love, the bananas, self mocking songs. The pride of wearing my City even in the 3 division.

Now I wear my City gear as a badge of honour as a FOC. It says been to the 3rd division and now top of the world. What a journey.

I havent read his book. I dont plan to.

I dont see how a so called fan wouldnt watch the CL, my dear old mum and dad would have loved to still be here to watch this City.
The work our owner has put into their City.

Each to their own but he doesnt sound like a die hard fan to me

A lot of what he says is fair enough, but what he seems to be upset about is the way football has gone rather than specifically city. I can empathise with that, but getting a sad-on about city since 2008 while not seeming to have as much of an issue with the circumstances around the establishment of the pl in the 90's is an odd act of self flagellation.

I get that in those days football seemed similar, turn up buy your ticket, football on the way out.
That isnt the world we live !
I expect every City to be loving our success especially us FOC any our fans back in the 90's. I like to be abit bigheaded and say if it wasnt for us fans back than we might not be here now.

Now instead of get stick for being shit the press/media try other ways. The more shit they throw the stronger my love grows for City.

Once those charges were throw at us last season it felt like a huge change in our support to me. It seemed the whole club, fans, players, management came together with a fucking big 'fuck off' lol.
Us fans seemed louder , more piss taking songs and that wonderful 'I'll follow you anywhere ' lol that's so bad it's funny.

It's great to see our younger fans getting louder and bringing up new songs

Schindler says himself he’s a hopeless romantic.

We all like a bit of nostalgia, but his position is taking things to stubborn extremes.

Difference is I just absolutely love what we’ve become, don’t get me wrong I’ll whinge on here about season tickets or City+, but ultimately I am in awe of the organisational excellence of the club nowadays.

Bring on the new season…

Sectarian hatred seems his only motivation. It is an emotional response not based on any logic. People like him just can’t escape the past. In many ways I feel sorry for him. He is not even aware of his own bigotry.
 
CSIAFC. The fact that miserable twats like him won’t set foot inside our stadium is excellent. The **** even used our bitter “neighbour’s” name to make money. Horrible irrelevant tosser. I read that Colin Schindler book when it came out, so don't remember all the details. It was wryly amusing though and a decent read at the time.

But it was fucking years ago.

This isn't down to him too much. He's not the one booking himself on shows to give his worthless and outdated point of view. The shows know what they're getting and they're the biggest wankers for deciding to book him. He's the go to guy for "I don't like what City have become", which is why they always want him and that's what's earning him pennies these days.

His whole concept that he was trying to flog through that book has been exploded. Perhaps he should write a book from the raggy angle, how their club went from being successful and taking the piss out of City. Slowly nose dived and their biggest achievement of the treble which they thought no one else could ever do, was done with ease. It’s gone completely full circle, the bucket headed hat bitter reds will lap that up.
