The Rags have turned on the Forest fan.

As a lifelong supporter of Manchester United, I have witnessed the unity and camaraderie that once defined our fanbase gradually erode into division and toxicity. Much of this negativity can be attributed to The United Stand, a YouTube channel that has gained notoriety for its abusive remarks towards our players. This toxic behavior is not only damaging to the morale of our players but also fosters an environment of hostility within the fan community.

The channel's host, Mark Goldbridge, has profited immensely from promoting this division among fans. He's never given anything positive back to the club. It is important to remember that football is more than just a game or business; it's about respect and sportsmanship both on and off the field. Mark posses neither.

Manchester United has always stood against abuse in all its forms. It is time we extend this stance by cutting ties with platforms like The United Stand which promote such behavior. By revoking their press credentials, we send a clear message that abuse towards players will not be tolerated.

Furthermore, we urge Manchester United to condemn publicly any form of toxicity within its fanbase and foster an atmosphere where constructive criticism replaces mindless abuse. Fans want a positive approach towards players and the club - let us strive for unity rather than division.

Join us in calling upon Manchester United to take action against toxicity by revoking The United Stand's press credentials. Sign this petition today!

I saw quotes from this Kantar survey a week or two ago.

The survey also reckons LFC have 700million fans and Arsenal 600million.

So that’s about a third of worlds population supporting the red teams.

If they add Barca and Real into the mix I’m sure they would get the point where every living human aged 1 day to 100 years supports those 5 teams !

Absolute garbage

Like to see the questions that were asked? Was it "have watched a rag game"? I have watched a rag game! Rags be paying these companies who ask these questions so they can show it to the sponsors they go after

When they conducted the first survey among the questions asked to just a few thousand people was "Do you ever watch Manchester United's games on TV?" Anybody that said they did was classed as a "follower" despite most of them not being rags but neutral football fans who simply watch football on TV. When the results were given to the rags they immediately changed the word "follower" to "supporter" and extrapolated the ridiculous figure of them having 659 million supporters worldwide.

Typical rag spin and bullshit.

Man City have 2 billion fans if you look at the numbers who watch us around the world because we are the most watched club numbers wise

If it is anything like the political polls taken in countries - it will based on the percentage from 1,000 people. In other words - completely meaningless.
and the 1000 people asked were probably in Euston station on a Saturday evening around 10 pm!

Standards are slipping there's no how and Madrid stop City articles about yet for tomorrow.

The bbc do have a fluff piece on that promising youngster Jessie over in Korea though.

It’s amazing what the bbc will do to keep that club or anything associated with it relevant.
