BBC article now saying klopp leaving is weighing heavy on the players, but a few months back it was how they were galvanised to give him a grand send off, this sort of reporting only happens for a couple of clubs the other is struggling just above mid table..
Weighing heavy? The only things weighing heavy are his newtons.

Ronay back to his worse in todays Guardian. Celebrating Reals win as some sort of victory for football and the little man and says the City project is "a grotesque spectacle on many levels"

There has been some utter drivel written about City since the takeover, but Ronay's latest installment is right up there. 'Grotesque spectacle' is an apt description for his pathetic excuse of an article.

It amuses me a great deal to imagine him and his peers witnessing our success over the last few years, with begrudging admiration for the incredible football on display and the genius of Guardiola.

The fact that someone who takes themselves as seriously as Ronay does would try to use Real Madrid, the team that spawned the Galactico culture in modern football, as his example of a 'little man' against City, makes it even funnier.

The thing that makes me laugh about these thick pricks in the Press and the media is their lack of intelligence and insight.

The football club (MCFC) that they're trying to trip up and ridicule actually benefits from this level of coverage. These hacks are pretty much doing our team talks on a weekly basis and their hatred is so obvious people in the wider communities can see it for what it is.
It's a bit like the Morgan Freeman quote in The Dark Knight when the accountant tries to blackmail: -

"Let me get this straight, you think that your client, one of the wealthiest and most powerful men in the world, is secretly a vigilante, who spends his nights beating criminals to a pulp with his bare hands, and your plan is to blackmail this person?

Good luck."

We’ve come along way from York when Real Madrid who are probably going to sign Mbappe and Endrick over the summer are a plucky underdog compared to Manchester City.

Who are they writing these stories for? Is it themselves?
I reckon so mate, they’ve been given a platform and they like to do a bit of self pleasing by talking about their fantasy and presenting it as fact for the morons to share and feel happy about, whether it’s true or not
