The "journalists" and rival fans that are quick to stick the boot in, are not very confident about the outcome, are they? It's like the 'Hateful 9'...do the damage before the verdict. They must believe we will be cleared (or we have a good chance), so they have to get it all in now. It's a psychological thing. It eases their pain.
Any intelligent, self-respecting journalist or rival fan will keep quiet until the verdict is given.

I really do hope when the inevitable happens and one of these muppets faces physical consequences that they dont have the cheek to play the victim card, i am all for freedom of speech but you simply cannot continually denigrate an institution that 1000s of people love unconditionally and for alot of people hold it only a step below family and expect there to be no consequences.

Let’s face it, if all this was aimed at Liverpool the press would be mobbed, stabbed, cars burnt out etc. We’re better than that.

Winning court cases should be good enough for us. Violence isn't the answer. Trust the club, dont disgrace it.
Filling these bottom feeders in will only garner sympathy for them, and then give the twats fuel for more attacks on the club.
We are at a disadvantage because they have no morals, and have sold their integrity to the highest bidder.

I agree with the sentiment of your OP, it is frustrating to have something held so dear to us be trashed by low life scum.
My response was to the wider community, not you per se.
Some of the journalists deserve a good face panel beating session, but the fallout is predictable.
Hopefully, restraint is shown and we answer in the best way we can with support for the club; and brevity, humour, and fuck you's to the baiters :)
