The horse has bolted on "being sure they have evidence to convict" the club. The process is in place. What are they going to do? Say "Sorry, we were just joking. All the charges are off". The time for that was before they referred the alleged breaches to the panel.2 Liverpool fans who happen to lecture on law in Sheffield want the PL to be sure they have proper evidence to convict city. Their feeling is that the charges were brought to show that PL execs are hard cunts who take no shit…and prior to the govt bringing in an external body to take over PL housekeeping relating to regulating members.
And, as for "any outcome causing a mutiny", what does that even mean? If we are found guilty and relegated to the Conference with the senior executives in jail, exactly who is going to mutiny and from what?
As for the article, it was poorly written and most of it, apart from the above, fairly neutral. Bit of a nothing-burger really.
