Personally, I couldn't give a toss if nobody considers us a "big" club... I'd rather stay small and just keep hoovering up the silverware!
It does make me chuckle though, when bell-ends like Jordan, Murphy or any media mouthpieces and opposition fans spout shite like this!!!
"City will never be as big as United/Liverpool etc. etc." ...but they never say why or more importantly adddress why these clubs are considered "big"!
United and Liverpool are so popular because they won lots of shiny trophies... simple as that! Liverpool won lots of titles and European Cups, United were fortunate to win just as Sky started broadcasting worldwide and generations of plastics grew up knowing nothing but Rag success... but it's City that are now winning a lot - conisistently for more than a decade now... and as others have mentioned, with Haaland (who is a legitimate superstar - kids love him) we are the increasingly popular choice for the younger generations... there are indeed increasing amounts of City shirts showing up everywhere nowadays – it's the nature of football nowadays, look at pricks like Goldstein and Goldbridge... the simple reason they support the Rags is they were good when they were young – so why do they try and dismiss the fact that City are now that team?
