Chelsea would have been the first after being invited to take part in the first European Cup in 1955 but were refused permission by the Football League. I do not know why.By "England's team" I presume he means the time they were our first and only representative in Europe. In those days and probably up to the mid eighties most fans tended to support any English team playing in Europe against foreign clubs. I'm not sure when it changed but the birth of social media certainly seemed to stoke up hatred and division to another level.
The club has to go zero tolerance because of the daily attacks on it. Be it from WhatsApp wankers, You Tube cunts or Tik Tok Twats. And's that before the redshirts and the PL sticking their oar In.What was actually being sung? The club threatening life time bans seems a bit OTT

Can assure him in 1968 i was cheering Benfica in the European Cup Final and so were many people i know who were mainly Blackpool fans. He has a point though as the rags support seemed to be spread all over England and far beyond. When i meet non Manc rags i always laugh at them and refuse to talk footy with them unless they wish to discuss their local team. It was strange how I would take the piss and wind them up when they were winning everything in the 90s and we were heading for the 3rd level. None of them went and couldnt find OT on a map. Told them they may have been the pride of all Europe, but we were the pride of Manchester.By "England's team" I presume he means the time they were our first and only representative in Europe.
