Too true, but the technical foul was brought in to stop teams slowing the play down, defensive teams use this foul far more that attacking teams, to the point only attacking teams get punished, mainly City as it is not applied evenly. They class a foul you get a yellow card for based on space. 9 players behind the ball not a yellow, doesn’t matter what the foul is, it’s just ignored.
Avoid the media now as much as possible, but how have they taken the Red Arses rant? I can imagine sympathetic?Arteta's meltdown as at least stopped the rats in the media from writing shit about Erling getting a knock.
It probably would of been "can City survive without their talisman blah blah" for the next week.
Well said John Evans. No deviation from the subject matter of the thread whatsoever. Unless, of course, you want to comment on the physical appearance or voice of female journalists like Melissa Reddy !Don't be bringing up the 'West Lothian Question' in a footy thread.. the punters will be telling you to take it over to the 'Off Topic' threads!
He’s certainly a character is Paul. Good to know he’s still around and hasn’t changed one bit.On 5 Lives 606 last Sunday our old friend Paul Nolan phones in,seems he's changed his name and now calls himself Micky. He was introduced by Savage as Micky the Man City fan( Micky) then tells us that he doesn't want City to win the Prem he would prefer Spurs to win it and City should concentrate on Chumps League. After this he tells Sutton that he was at Elland Road when Leeds played Norwich and Sutton was playing. Was great back in the day, Stannage used to take the piss as Nolan would change the team he supported on a weekly basis, nice to hear you again Paul.
Arteta came across as a complete, entitled knob, as usual.Just watched MotD.
Nothing wrong with the Newcastle goal.
A lot less controversial than I thought.
Stop your whining Arsenal.
