Didn't similar happen with Smalling? Not only that, Cleverley was called up to the full England squad before he made his debut for The Red Filth against us in the August 2011 Community Shield (the friendly against Holland was called off because of the London/etc Riots at the time)
Not knowing any of this on leaving Wembley that day after they turned around losing 2-0 at half-time to win 3-2 with Cleverley prominent in his second half cameo (though clearly an apprentice carthorse to my trained eye..!!), I jokingly said to our group that no doubt Cleverley would be capped by England immediately..
Wish I'd joked about the Lottery numbers instead..
I stand correctedNever played a competitive game for England while at United.
Cheaper to pay the licence than a fine! :-)It's only a civil offence though not criminal so if taken to court it's a fine no criminal record.
I'm not sure ,but suspect that the fine will be equivalent to at least the annual licence fee. Has anybody on here been fined, or knows someone who has, and how much? It's only a civil offence though not criminal so if taken to court it's a fine no criminal record.
I remember Phil Jones for Blackburn, he was there best player (believe it or not) played well most games.
Not a sniff of an senior England call up.

I don’t know anyone and obviously, as I pay, not been fined myself but the maximum fine is £1,000 with £2,000 in Guernsey.I'm not sure ,but suspect that the fine will be equivalent to at least the annual licence fee. Has anybody on here been fined, or knows someone who has, and how much?
