Micah and Sturridge on Sky. We are truly blessed...
I’ve just seen something of them both discussing who is the bigger club and Micah acting the clown and as usual doing fuck all for us as a club stating Chelsea are clearly a bigger club than City. Not only is the whole bigger club discussion dumb as fuck, Micah is fucking pathetic in representing City.

He doesn't represent City. He's the resident village idiot for SKY TV.
Why did they hire him? Not to be the equivalent of Neville or Carragher
for the red shirts, But as light entertainment and to be the class clown.
To be fair, he's a natural.

Genuine question, in what possible way are Chelsea a bigger club than us?

Just listened to the radio where they were going on about Liverpools tremendous home record of eight straight wins.
Ours is almost three times better than that in all comps.
Hardly ever gets a mention.

It is annoying when they overlook City’s achievements but I’ve come to the conclusion that because we‘ve been playing such fantastic football consistently for so long now, it’s no longer seen as news - they’d just be reporting on the status quo.

When other teams string a half decent run of games together they run a piece on it.

However, the flip side of them eulogising over things other teams do that City have been doing for so long, is to highlight how far behind us those other teams actually are.

and don't forget "Liverpool's record breaking season" of 2020, where you struggle to find any records that they actually broke.

Its the david silva syndrome, david was never truly appreciated by the outside press etc because him having an off day was the equivalent of most peoples best game of the season so his greatness was underappreciated.

For city top quality is the normal standard so its only when we dip below that it is noticed, the rest of the time its ignored and underappreciated.

I remember Phil Jones for Blackburn, he was there best player (believe it or not) played well most games.
Not a sniff of an senior England call up.

Signed for the Rags
Played 45mins v City in 2011 Charity shield
Called up for England
On the flip side of that, Raz was a shoe-in when he played for City....signed for Chavski and the waistcoat sends him to Coventry.
