Media Discussion - 2023/24

[I'm no cynic but...]

We have had more negativity aimed at our club in the media over the last decade than the Dippers did in 1985 when they murdered 39 innocent football fans and got all UK football clubs banned from europe for five years , even if we have bent the rules and concealed a few quid , we havent killed people.

But it wasn't their fault!!!

On the BBC news this morning manager of Ramsgate saying we are only game from a potential tie with Man City or Arsenal. Untill very recently it would have been Man Utd or Arsenal, progress of sorts i suppose.

This is nothing to do with City but it is to do with the media. Claudia Winkleman is giving up her Saturday morning radio show on the BBC. This was an item on the BBC national television news yesterday. Does anybody actually give a fuck about trivial stories like this?

thats no entirely true though, Liverpool, and the english game were vilified all over the continent and in other countries further a flield

the beeb wee also heavily criticised and the anger lasted quite a while.

We live in a digital era were everything is scrutinised every minite amd any old dickhead can post truths or lies modern media covereage cannotnbe placed next to the available coverage in print and on the only 4 tv channel of the 80s.
