Dipper Pornhub aka ESPN keep up the narrative that City and liverpool are even. The article is worse than the headline with us "sharing the last 4 prems" etc...

City - 3, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 1, current 1 - trophies 13 (15 Inc Charity shield)
Liverpool - 4, 4, 2, 1, 3, 2, 5 current 2 - trophies (7 Inc shield)

We're not even. We're far fucking superior.
If you take out the Covid season they won. Jeremy Doku was 7 the last time they finished above us.

I usually ignore idiots like Herbert but I had a look.

"The alleged artificial inflation of the Etihad sponsorship deal is central to the Premier League's 115 charges against City, over breaches of sustainability rules."

Err, fairly certain (as far as we can be) that it isn't?

"No discussion, come to mention it, of how Manchester City and West Ham United were both gifted taxpayer funded stadiums, built for the 2002 Commonwealth Games and 2012 Olympics, respectively...

...What wouldn't Everton have given for a purpose-built stadium, all costs covered, to move into, during their infernal battle to get planning permission for one, stretching back the best part of 15 years?"

Purpose built? Could have sworn we're a football club and not an athletics club. I must have imagined digging down and putting the bottom tier in, not to mention completing the north stand, roof and all. All costs covered? Do me a favour.
Do we get a grant for ground improvements when we host the euros? Just look at how much tax payers money the government has thrown at the swamp, only for that club to oversee it becoming a dangerous dilapidated hovel. City have more than repaid any money invested by Sports England, which I assume was national lottery funding or the council.

Talk Shite are really on it this morning, popped it on again while having a wash & Sheban Ohearn? is now saying Pep is to blame for the lack of spectacular goals from outside the box, the boiled bollock Brazil joining in with "city overplay the game to much"
I think we have our next manager in waiting when Pep packs up, Ladies & gentlemen please welcome the new Man City Manager Mr (get it in the mixer) boiled bollock Brazil :-)
Listening to this shit has really given me a good chuckle this morning.
They have picked up on the goals outside the box topic from an article written by Thom Gibbs (a total buffoon who tries hard to be the class jester) in the Telegraph a couple of days ago. Typical talkSHITE, they haven't got an original idea in their heads. They just effectively cut & paste from the other media outlets, and the sheep lap it up. A moronic radio station, run by morons for morons. Why any City fan ever listens to a single word of that station is totally beyond me.

And listened to by morons……sacked it off many, many years ago…….shower of know fuck all cunts….

The hate fuelled shitbags will start arriving about 9-10am, picking up their tickets at the Portakabin opposite first. In the main front gate and turn right
Would be awful if these delicate flowers actually faced consequences for their all-out assault on our club and fans
Absolutely awful, it really would spoil everyone’s day
Who knows, should someone look at them or cough in the wrong direction, it might motivate them to write something nasty about our club and our fans!
This has never ever happened before and must be avoided at all costs!
I really hope nothing happens to our esteemed and universally loved and respected media guests, that they enjoy the lavish hospitality we lay on for them in their usual fashion, and that everyone enjoys their day out watching the best team on the planet at the home of the treble winners

Instead of organising bus welcomes and nice flags etc why don’t we organise a welcome for these bitter hateful bile spewing twats, complimentary with eggs, flour and strawberry milkshakes of course.

Having said that some of those fuckers aren’t worth the price of a dozen eggs.

sky have something similar on youtube, waffling on about the rivalry of the last few years. Showed a bucket load of dipper goals and about three from City, one of which was disallowed.

Big Sam used to go mad at his players if they had a long range shot as chances are it will not yield a goal put concede possession and lose pressue/momentum.

Slimey back on it on the BBC site now. Invitation to all present to quiz Pep on Everton and the 115.
So fucking tedious and predictable.

“Pep Guardiola will be speaking to the media at the Etihad Campus before Manchester City's eagerly-awaited Premier League clash with Liverpool.

Guardiola will be asked about the fitness of Erling Haaland, who missed Norway's European Championship qualifier against Scotland.

It will also be interesting to see if he has anything to say on Everton's 10-point deduction, or more specifically, the view many have aired that City could now be in trouble given they have 115 Premier League charges to address.”

To some extent they are right. We don't waste possession and give it back to the opposition by taking desperate low percentage potshots from 35 yards. How many of the long range screamers that used to happen had more than even 3 passes in the build up?

That's not to say we haven't scored some belters. De Bruyne v Real Madrid and Rodri v Bayern come to mind from just last season.

But you wouldn't have lower division goals like this without City. This is 100% our influence.

Give me a tap in like that any day!

As the two greatest 'Alans' of football would put it:

'Football is football, Clive..' (Alan Latchley, aka Peter Cook) and

'That. Is. A. Goal..' (Alan Partridge aka Steve Coogan)

And yes, whatever level it is, THAT is a bloody brilliant goal and all down to Pep's/City's influence and inspiration!

From the article:

“Just a year after the club's first major triumph of the Abu Dhabi United ownership - the 2012 acquisition of their first Premier League title.”

Not a win, or a victory, or a success, but an “acquisition”!

Must be that “dirty Arab oil money” BUYING shit again!

Blatantly offensive, yellow “journalism.”
The trick is to change your perspective.

When out and about driving, It always use to wind me up when other drivers would not indicate, try to push in or cut me up. Now I simply assume that every other road user is a complete and utter twat (until they prove me wrong).

I've adopted the same approach to the British Press and the Broadcasting Media. I view them as nothing more than bought, bias shills who panda to the red shirts and are funded to set the narrative.
