Couldnt give a flying f*ck about the Hammers attendances , their world wide following is zilch , they are a mid-table team hoping for a good cup run. Same, the good will between the fanbases seems to still be there from what I've seen too. Rather them have something to boast about than Spurs or Liverpool but any club able say they have 60k+, is nothing to scoff at.

WHU are probably our biggest allies in English football, amongst most of the other cunts in football. Similar fanbases and have been a friend for close to forty years.

They’re one of the very, very few fanbases with whom we have an enduring friendship.

The Hammers are sound.

West Ham have a great fanbase and always have had. Not sure about world wide fans but who cares. They are the best fans in London as far as I am concerned but they don't get the sycophantic media coverage of Chelsea, Arsenal, and Spurs.
 
There is a quiz on the BBC about each club. 12 questions on each club. One for each month.

The questions are either positive or negative re: the result involved in the question.

Liverpool had 3 questions about defeats.
United had 2 questions about defeats.
City, in the year where they won 1 trophy in May, two in June, one in August and one in December, had 7 questions out of 12 that were about defeats.

West Ham fans are fucking brilliant and I’ve never had any trouble from them. I remember when we played them in the cup (kinkys brilliant goal game) walking back to my car with a group of them bearing in mind I was on my own and they were absolutely brilliant. They are a very down to earth fanbase who are very good to us as a club and very complimentary about us. What’s the issue with them singing that? They won a European trophy and have every right to sing champions of Europe etc etc because that’s what they won a European trophy. I’d bet my last quid that in bygone days we’d have sang exactly the same if we’d been in West Ham’s position because them like us back in the day never took ourselves seriously. We should never forget where we were before the money came in and I look back at West Ham and raise a glass to them in appreciation for what they’ve achieved and are well within their rights to sing about. Brilliant club and brilliant fans, the best club in London by a country fucking mile.

I think there probably just having a bit of a laugh and partaking in a bit of banter at the same time. I doubt there is not one of them who doesn't realise the Conference league is not as significant as the Champions League but there just enjoying the moment - good luck to them.
