Jay was spot on of course, and spoke for all of us. We all know about the "red-centric media" and Jordan was clearly stung as he repeated the phrase with scorn like a kid in a playground trying to lessen that sting. Meanwhile Jim White's role is simply to stir the pot but walk away when it all kicks off.
Earlier a know-nowt Rag was on with his highly original viewpoint that we are not respected because we haven't done it "organically." When we were winning the League, beating them at Wembley and celebrating in Istanbul, I very much doubt anyone was too concerned about garnering the respect of the red shirts or because we hadn't done it "organically" as if we were growing tomatoes in the back garden. This little word has obviously got some traction with Rags, but then so should the phrase "red-centric media" amongst the rest of us.

He started with a reference to Pavlov's dogs and a sarcastic comparison with Talksport's lazy mantra of aiming every phone-in at the red cartel.
YOU MUST HAVE BEEN UP ALL NIGHT THINKING OF THIS
IT MUST HAVE TAKEN FIVE MINUTES TO PLAN THIS SCRIPT

He then referenced Liverpool's spending spree in the early 60s essentially to get out of the Second Division, and compared it with United's spending spree circa 88-89, and questioned where that money had come from when they hadn't won the league in 20+ years and had just recorded their lowest postwar average attendance.

Both clubs benefited from clever long term planning, both on and off the pitch, but only following a huge initial investment

Best of all, was his response to White's assertion that Liverpool and United hadn't broken any rules.

THESE RULES WEREN'T IN PLACE WHEN THEY WERE BUYING THE TOP PLAYERS
THEY WERE ONLY INTRODUCED WHEN CITY BECAME THE TOP SPENDERS
AND WHO WAS AT THE FRONT OF THE QUEUE BADGERING FOR THEM TO BE INTRODUCED?
UNITED LIVERPOOL ARSENAL AND SPURS
The only thing that irked me and Jay didn't put right, was Jordan coming out with the "You were found guilty, by UEFA..." comment.
UEFA said we were guilty but when we took them to CAS to prove we were guilty, they had no proof... UEFA, like the PL, are a kangaroo court... and Jordan knows that... after all, it's his own words!!!

It's not a co-incidence. United have got very smart PR teams who know how to get a narrative out there. None of this happens by accident.
Is it down to having smart PR teams or is it just biased staff in media outlets happy to put out whatever guff the rags or dippers send them.

We have to assume surely that like pretty much every other part of our organisation we hire the best people out there for our PR dept

this is how stupid jordan is, the prosecutor is of course going to say you are guilty otherwise they wouldnt charge you in the first place, this is the whole reason why we have independent courts otherwise it would be a dictatorship.

It's impossible to do it 'organically' now. The closest thing I have seen to doing it organically is Southampton - Bale, Lallana, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ward-Prowse, etc. What happened? Liverpool amongst others steamed in and said "we're having him, him and him". A bad recruitment cycle later and Southampton were relegated. So I say bollocks to your organic growth. City got to the top and stayed there by doing things in the only way possible. A way that is now largely shut off to any would-be dreamers. A way that sticks two fingers up to the twats who want to run football for their own benefit. A way that makes the envious establishment clubs more green than an Asda organic bag of spinach.

McCoist seems to have lost the plot as well. As usual the match was commentated totally from a Copenhagen point of view. I realise that everyone likes an underdog but they kept stressing that Copenhagen had just come back from their winter break and were not fully up to fitness but that is true of most clubs in Europe (outside the PL) and happens every season. Everytime Copenhagen attacked they started shouting. Very strange behaviour.
I stuck with tnt and thought McCoist was excellent, apart from using 'the wee man' and 'the big fella' too much.

Jordan says this all the time because the fact was uefa did find us guilty with there kangaroo court bias!
But cas cleared us of all that so that means we are innocent!

Jordan then thinks Cas isn't legit outfit then?!

Is It like you go to court your found guilty then go to the Supreme Court found innocent!?
