This got me wondering if perhaps the perceived colour and cleanliness of oil and the wealth accruing from its legitimate sale is related to the culture, religion and maybe even the colour of its producers and associated agents and businesses?

Exactly... oil isn't just oil, you know. There are all sorts of different colours, grades, and cleanliness scales, as I'm sure we're about to be indefinitely lectured on.

It took me some time to realise the Just Stop Oil campaign wasnt about City. I thought bloody hell climbing up the Dartford Cross just to protest over City was taking it abit far

Moral of the tale (I think) is that the MSM is never going to change. It’s out to make money and with few exceptions doesn’t want to (in the sports depts) challenge the status quo. All we can do is not fund them and if enough people do so it hastens their decline.

One way it might change.

if HHSM buys the Telegraph, presumably that will become “state owned”?
