I only noticed because I had been looking at hospitality for the last home match as it’s my birthday that day and knew it was City v West Ham!!

I changed my mind as it’s too expensive but I might drop hints to the family. *lol*
Do they have to change their name for the day to No Ham?

Dont google tea bagging eccles !

Yes, definitely don’t!
No way. I still blush when I remember my son and daughter being absolutely horrified when I called the ‘room’ under the stairs the gl**y h**e! That’s what my parents generation called it when I was a kid. We put all the saveable rubbish in there or the coal in those days. I use it as storage for gardening items until I get a shed.

WHERE DOES GLORY-HOLE COME FROM?

Crappleberry / Deviant Art
In the 1820s, a glory-hole was a slang term for a “junk drawer” (no, not that kind of junk). Other 19th-century uses include small compartments on ships and other small rooms along with some still-current specialized uses in glass-blowing, engineering, and mining. The glory, here, apparently goes back to a Scots word meaning “muddy.”
