In the last few weeks I've had headlines on the Google news app that Eddy, Walker, Stones, Haaland, Alvarez, Jack, Rodri, Foden, Pep are all leaving.
It is laughable. But they never seem to tell us where they are going do they?
They would only be attracted to handful of clubs or less, and none of those
clubs are PL clubs. So who are they as Real Madrid can't buy them all?
Also, only a handful of clubs could afford them.
The only one I can think of is Walker to Bayern if Vinny does land the job.

Gary Neville never even "flew" under his own steam, unlike Noel.
He was shoehorned into the Valencia job as he is Peter Lim's bitch.
He stayed at one club, well within his comfort zone.
Don't think he was even a captain (well he wasn't up to Bruce or Keane level) ?
He failed dismally as a coach with England under Hodgson.
Also, shockingly, I don't think he did anything to help his hometown team, seeing them kicked-out of the Football League.
Lastly, the Salford City FC, the class of '92 vanity project, looks like it will fail and they will follow Bury out of the League of 92 clubs.
Unfortunately, Sky still seem to think the sun shines out of his jacksy...
The people Salford City employed to run the under 16's last season were absolute clowns.

Agree, it's the time of year when the media is hoping for an exodus from the Ethiad.
At least Stones, Jack & Ederson have great competition for their places, if they leave.
When Sergio was having his annual leaving articles, we had an inferior list of deputies...
There are definite seasons aren't there.
The leaving season
The new signings are poor season
The team is underperformed season
The can team X pip City for the title season
The it's not fair City have all the best players season
Nothing left to say, they are just cheats season

Those are my City seasons.

An ex dipper getting his facts wrong.

He's been put upto it by his former employers.

There's a campaign against us. It was mentioned in the dippers thread about their hierarchy wanting their version of hardcore fans to wave club sanctioned 115 banners.

BBC football gossip page showing various media outlets touting our players again. Stones, Grealish and Eddie this time. All key players for us that we’d struggle to replace. I’ll assume it’s all bollocks.

Why don’t the media make up stories that Rice wants to go to Real Madrid as Arsenal yet again won fuck all, or say that Saka wants to go to Chelsea because, oh yes Arsenal won nothing …

But no, the media seem to think it’s title winning players that want to leave.
It’s the hope that kills you.
That’s what they are offering.

I am still seething at Syed’s article in yesterday’s Times so I’ve emailed them as below. Might be a waste of time but I’m sick to death of the constant negativity. I would hate it if City had the sycophantic coverage that the red shirts get but neither should the publication of sneeringly sarcastic guilt assuming tripe go unchallenged.
I write to protest in the strongest possible terms at the content of the above article. It was sarcastic, patronising and assumed Manchester City, a club I have supported since 1969, have in effect fiddled their accounts. As yet there has been no determination of the issue of the charges levelled against the club by the premier league nor will there be until the full facts have been heard by the Independent Commission or settlement beforehand.
The clear and obvious innuendo in the article is that the club have cheated. This denotes breathtaking arrogance on the part of Mr. Syed which is especially ironic when he has openly admitted to cheating in his chosen sport of table tennis. I am on the point of cancelling my subscription such is my shock at the article passing the editing stage and being published.
I await your explanation and/or justification for the inclusion of this article. Readers should be able to trust “The Times” for intelligent, objective factual comment. Mr. Syed’s article has severely damaged that trust as far as I am concerned.

funny a lad from bury who owns a club in salford and played for a club in trafford, nowt Manc about him either.

though noel fucking off to london 20 odd years ago does invalidate his presently a hometown boy monika, he's born a mancunian but at the same time not "from" manchester by choice
Sorry mate, I don’t agree that someone’s not from Manchester if they move away. For me personally, I was born in Manchester and lived in Moss Side followed by Cheadle Hulme. I was a Platt Lane and then Kippax season ticket holder and then moved away for work reasons back in 1990. I have listened and watched most City games live over the decades and always attend matches when I’m back. I am from Manchester just like Noel and many others who’s life circumstances took them away.

Completely agree, left West Gorton aged 18 in 1986 and only visit Manchester when able now for City. Recently less frequently, sadly due to my location.

Never said he wasn't from Manchester, I said "from" as in a resident.

I lived 10 years in the channel Islands and when their was "from" jersey, but I was still a Mancunian

Neville is neither from Manchester or a Mancunian, where as Noel is
