Media discussion - 2024/25

later on there is probably the clumsiest 115 reference I've ever seen. It's like the editor read the article and decided it needs a 115 sentence randomly shoved in
It's almost as if the BBC are not actually editorially independent. Who knew this shabby organisation would so wilfully ignore the whole point of its Royal Charter and the reason why it continues to be funded by the public.

This is from article on the BBC website this morning about the transfer window and specifically about how much the title contenders spent.

You might wonder what is the relevance to the topic

“City, of course, have won four successive Premier League titles. They face 115 charges – which they deny – of alleged breaches of the league's financial rules.”
Said it many times, they need banning from the ground.
Not only have they got our figures wrong as we have raised more than they state but the figure they come up with is net 115.8 million (surprise) there was zero reason to add a reference to charges in this but they seem to shoe horn it into every article they do, it’s clear and organised bias from the the red top loving BBC.

Always thought our media department lacked any kind of nouse. When asked stupid questions, pep needs a go to line. Something on the lines of “ next stupid question gets a prize “
In defence of our media chap, when that toe rag asked Pep if he'd had back handers like Mancini, he went to stop it dead. Pep interrupted the media guy, said it was OK and answered it.
Our media department are told what their role is. I do not believe they are shit, they simply do as they are told, by Khaldoon, Pep, whoever.
It is clear that orders from above are that we do not take on the press.

If you read Sorianos book "The goal doesn’t go in by chance" it will tell you all about how we handle the media.
