They have some stupid made up fact check label on some of their news reports too, maybe if they had it back in the late 70's and 80's when Saville was ploughing his way through the organisation we would be in a better place :)

BBC Verify....I watched Ross Atkins do a couple of pieces on politics prior to Verify setting up and he was I felt really good.BBC Verify - Marianna Spring is their fact checker in chief - the woman that lied on her CV to get the job.
Verify starts and he does something on us, pile of crap full of untruths. I was hoping he'd be on the ball but, like the rest of them, only when it suits.

She lied on her CV for a job application but when caught she said 'but everything else is true'.
The laugh is, she lied about working for the bbc who she now works for ....checking for lies.
