I genuinely don't think City are boring now I would saying watching the bus teams is boring. As nearly every team parks the bus against us City games can be seen as boring. It takes two teams to play a game of football, if one doesn't want to win the game could be boring.
City try to win games alot of teams playing us don't try to win the game and are happy with a point.

I've said for a few seasons now the pl runs the risk of becoming boring as more and more teams park the bus against each other
Spot-on. Some of our European matches were great for the neutrals (not us of course) because our opponents didn't sit back at all. Our players are worn out and can't find the space they used to against the negative clubs. We always try to win. It is still very rare for us to even draw a match.

Some teams, especially United, have resorted to ultra defensive tactics with two blocks of five defenders and a long hoofball in the hope of scoring on the counter attack. Leicester did this against us, and wasted time, even when they were 2-0 down. These sort of anti-football teams are in a minority. Some of the football played this season by Liverpool (early on), Brighton, Forest, Bournemouth, Fulham, Palace, and especially Villa, has been fantastic. City are still an attacking side which scores plenty of goals but too many of our players are burned-out. We will be back next season. Neville is a total dickhead who can't get over the fact that his club has been left behind.
Let's just remember how useless and pathetic Gary Neville was, as a head coach (for Valencia) and an assistant coach (England).
His unbelievable and unwarranted arrogance is fuelled by Sky pandering to him (and Carragher) as commentator for his beloved team.
I will never subscribe to Sky when these two buffoons are seen as their preferred "experts".
Thankfully, Sky are on their way out...

I am told that the City fans didn’t sound loud to me yesterday on tv. Absolute proof that they manipulate the sound as it was an excellent away end yesterday - I know the difference between good and bad away ends, such as anfield was a dreadful away end, yesterday was top notch. I have been at old toilet when the rags are loud, and yesterday was the quietest ever, couldn’t hear a peep from them yet apparently it wasn’t like that on Sky, blatant manipulation.

Last week I watched the game in 2009 where Bellamy scored 2?late goals and both times the camera followed him to where he went to the away end to celebrate and both times the camera went no higher than Bellamy so as not to show the City fans celebrating. Never done with any other away fans, and it’s been going on at least 16 years.

I have quoted this a coupe of times but blaming the opposition is short sighted for me. It is on us to break them down, if teams have found a way to stopping us, why are we complaining about it. Passing backwards and sideways hundreds of times and not even resulting in a chance at goal, for me, is boring to watch. I said it prior to our freefall. We didn't try to win the game yesterday, you can argue United didn't but they looked more threatening and got into them areas a lot more than us. We know how teams will set up against us yet we play into their hands weekly. We played the second worst team in the league midweek, with the second worst defence in the league and mustered up 4 shots on target. It isn't good enough

Might need a rule change, 4 players in opposing half type of rule, heaven forbid

Yeah we didn't sound loud on TV but that wasn't to say we wasn't. I suspected that may be the case. First half United were prominent in terms of noise, they can't manipulate not hearing a pin drop to that but they absolutely keep the microphones away from that away end

I don't doubt we weren't loud at all, we just wasn't that loud on TV for the reasons already stated. Sun out, KDB news, our fans was always going to be up for it.

I ucan understand Pep bring cautious for the first half of an away Derby (even though MUFC are dire this season).
But, why, oh why, doesn't Pep ever take a risk, by using all 5 subs ?
Only three subs used, again, the latter 2 at 75 minutes gone.
A Derby can be emotionally draining, surely Pep could have replaced the struggling KDB or Kova ?
Fortune favours the brave and I feel currently, Pep has become far more cautious...

Been saying this for ages,

We’ve all seen and know what sky do when the dippers do the gerry marsden karaoke before the kick off. All scripted for the cameras

Neville desperately screaming “penalty!” when Dias slipped and the ball hit his chest shows just why Sky really shouldn’t have him on United duty, or Carragher on Liverpool games. It’s like fan TV. Any veil of neutrality slips at times and they show their true colours. Sadly, Sky seemingly don’t care or just want to appease certain clubs/fanbases.
Add in his absolute silence in other ways, e.g. when it was clear that Casemiro was (imo) somewhat reckless in his challenge on Foden that led to him picking up a knock. The other way around that’s a free kick from the ref and red nev is talking about excessive force.

He simply can’t be rational. At least Amorim called him out, the man is a clown. Talks the talk but never walked the walk (on the coaching front)

His rant about the game becoming boring after was spoken as a United fan who are no longer top dogs. His rag ag entitlement syndrome hitting out that other clubs have evolved and broken the PL model they were successful in. It sounded like he was the denial stage of grieving that is his club is now a mid table team run by slick oil salesman.

With the greatest of respect, and please excuse my language, but what you wrote is Codswallop.

100% and what is going to happen when you get two teams whos game plan is to sit back and hit on the break playing against each other.

Agree with this. We had no problems breaking teams down with fully-fit Foden, peak Bernardo, Gundo, KDB, Stones, Akanji and especially Rodri. With the right recruitment we will be back next season with all guns blazing.

Villa are in the quarter finals of the CL (much as I hate them), Newcastle have won a trophy, Forest are poised to qualify for Europe. That's not boring. It is just that Neville, like so many self-entitled Rags, can't cope with any competition.

Fuck me, just watching the press conference with Saka on Sly - it’s so different to when our players get interviewed, pleasant, laughing and joking with him, no snide questions, bigging him up and Arsenal up. Football is so bent, every written tv outlet, every tv station, the fa, the premier league, uefa, fifa, pigmob all of em
