Sky Sports and the BBC have gone full on wankfest over Liverpool. God help us if the Rags win the Europa League, it'll be a jizz tsunami for sure.

Which is why I answered that you were right and went onto explain why they were different.
Bernie and a lot of the City team did many things during covid to help others. They were not, are not media where's so there can never be a comparison of exact same situations

Honestly guys I never want rags gooners or dippers to win anything, always want the team they are playing to beat them.
No different to people say I hope CP beat City.
I can never understand the press/media saying the country should get behind rags or dippers when in European finals. Fuck that.

I've easily avoided it all. Haven't watched any news since yesterday, stayed clear of sports apps and continued not to read newspapers or get involved in any social media.
Gave MOTD2 a wide berth last night in favour of QI and Mock The Week repeats on "U".

I never watch or listen to any of it. Just a normal day for me :)

It was always going to get alot of coverage - league titles do - but I’m quite surprised by the lack of it to be honest. Scousers on socials too are up in arms about the coverage their triumph is getting, or lack of.

It all feels rather meh, and has done for the last couple of months. A complete anti climax. Now if this was us we wouldn’t care because we don’t need the kudos from the entire country, but it’s them and for some warped reason, they do.

Twats.
 
Bloody Good Morning Britain today, hubby had on, I sat down to have a quick cuppa with him.

It's well known in our house that I can't stand Susanna Reid, hub winds me up saying she is a quality journalist BBC trained, to which I tell him to do one, no idea what he's on about - my inherent dislike of the BBC equates to my loathing of Dippers.

Anyway it was all congratulations to Liverpool er remind me did we ever get that on any channel the day after??? Then it was all about her team Palace. Not a single word about who their opposition will be in the FA Cup final.

I will be avoiding all media outlets for this week.

I just want a PSG CL victory. But if by some chance Arse win the CL, whilst it would annoy me for eternity it may take away some Dipper arsenal licking. It will dam well annoy me though, all those years Pep struggled/ we were unlucky and yet they waltz through. Grrr.

You can see headlines re PL City and Liverpool have shared the last 8 PL wins. Conveniently disguising the score of City 6 Dippers 2.

Peps annoyed, he wants that title back. How classy was he though congratulating them yesterday? Iirc The Dentate one never did that.

Did anyone set fire to the Liver building last night? If so it was Everton and Chelsea fans...

Sorry I'm in rant mode about the media.

And finally re Susanna Reid. Her choice of male suitor at one time - step forward Simon Jordan. Good god, imo desperation on both sides!!

Agree just backs up what a poor pl season it has been. Dippers won it at Christmas nothing exciting just abit boring.

On a more pertinent media point I thought all week that the RDAHMeedya were wanking themselves into A 'n E in order to facilitate a Palace v Forest final. They have a few weeks to recover before they go all out for a Palace win! Oh, and has the title slipped through a few fingers?

No one outside the dippers gives a fuck. Its literally been handed to them on a plate by how bad the rest have been and no amount of dipper spin will make it anything other than a bore fest. What little ive seen of their title win yesterday looked like one big effort to try and make it look special when in reality it was far from it.
 
People complaining there is coverage of Liverpool, we have the same coverage when we win the league, trust me. I record it all. Rightly so, they are the champions of England. We take our medicine and move on hopefully with an fa cup win. The ESPN post is a shocker and them kind of posts I understand the uproar. Sky and such like covering a title win, I think is acceptable

You sound like every fan who cries like a fanny when we have won the last few. "nobody cares" the same people who say nobody cares are spending their time talking about how much they don't care. It was a bore fest to you, not to them. Did it bother you when everybody ironically declared our wins are boring, predictable etc? I bet you didn't. Suck it up blue.
