I’m talking about “selling” the stadium to some shell company and reap a nice amount of PSR headroom from the “sale.”

Chelsea did it with property already..,

Chelsea FC sold some of their properties, including two hotels and car parks near Stamford Bridge, to a sister company within their own ownership group (BlueCo 22 Properties Ltd) for £76.5 million.

This transaction was used strategically to generate a profit on their accounts, helping Chelsea comply with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR), which are part of Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations.

The sale reduced their reported losses significantly, aiding them in meeting the PSR limits despite heavy spending on players.

The Premier League scrutinized the deal and deemed the sale to be at fair market value, allowing it to stand without breaching rules. However, the move sparked controversy and frustration among rival clubs, who viewed it as exploiting a loophole in the financial regulations.

That first sentence in you're post about selling the stadium naming rights to some shell company, never in a billion years would Chairman Khaldoun or Sheikh Mansour ever consider doing this, we will raise funds elsewhere to circumnavigate PSR.
 
The Mail online can barely be bothered to acknowledge that the cup final is today. Pathetic childish behaviour because none of their beloved teams are in the final, and you have to scroll down to about the 15th story to read about Pep complaining that the Bournemouth game should be on the Wednesday. Literally fuck all about the final. Puerile wankers!

in fairness it's the PL/FA's fault putting it before the end of the season.

It's got swallowed up in the footballing calendar when it should bring the curtain down.
Say what you like, but Tuesday is more important to the club than today. even more so after the results last night and the Southampton result.

You forgot the story about Pep 'complaining' about asking for the Bournemouth game to be moved. Gotta get them neutrals thinking we think we need difficulty rules to everyone else
