It's refreshing to read an article that is so clearly unbiased, even though I cringe when reading that horrible Americanism when a football club is referenced in the singular: "Holder Madrid and 2023 champion City..."

Your point about how some football journalists hate fans is well made. There is a patronising sneering culture in some newsrooms towards working class football fans. In fact there is a new genre in the media of people who make a living from making snide and vicious comments about players and fans just to generate clicks.

Excellent. I’d love Ducker to go on there and be asked about he’d have fared had he been hung out to dry at 21.
That being said, the really important bit is right at the end when he talks about the difference between the European press conferences and the PL ones.
They’ve had access to one of the finest coaches in history for the last 10 years and they’ve pissed it away.
I know they’re not everyone’s cup of tea but they also had access to Ancelotti, Mourinho, Klopp, Van Gaal, Conte, Pochettino to name a few and they’ve managed to not tell us ANYTHING that we can’t see with our own eyes. Imagine wasting that….
