Martin keown is a disgrace to the species
He’s always had a problem with us but he’s also a product of his environment.

There’s a group of around 10-15 of these pundits, and they’re so shit scared of being overshadowed and losing their seat on the gravy train that they feel the need to be permanently controversial and newsworthy. They know that they couldn’t hack it as a manager- too much like hard work - so they’re desperate to remain relevant and their mouths just run away from them as a result.

The coverage would be immeasurably improved by getting rid of the lot of them. Can you imagine how much more enjoyable it would be to be able to watch a game on a Sunday afternoon without having to endure Gary Neville shouting out the first thing that comes into his head?

The BBC using weird language in the reporting of uniteds offside goal last night.

'Maguire headed the winner, despite appearing to be offside when Bruno Fernandes.'

'It was down to the decision of the officials, who felt there was nothing wrong with the goal.'

'Having had time to analyse replays of the goal, VAR would most likely have overturned the on-pitch decision.'

Is there any reason they can't say it was offside when it was offside and there is no doubt it was offside because it was offside?
its same reporting as when goal disallowed for rags "adjuged to be off side" in other word some debate about decision city score off side goal it's "off side" and little doubt
