It would be amazing to see both Joe and Nedum get mainstream sports media roles, but I don't think either of them would be willing to toe the party line and spin false narrative's where certain clubs are concerned.
 
Just watched Chelsea beat Betis on TNT. I was astounded by the bias in the commentary during the game. Having watched games with City over the years with the commentary firmly fixed on how City's opponents can beat City's trillion pound squad and that includes that plucky underfunded Rael Madrid.
This Chelsea squad cost over a £ billion (never mentioned) which compared to Betis, well they had Anthony playing for them !
Don't forget this was the Conference League final, even lower than the Duffers Cup the rags and spurs were in.
I don't mind English commentators getting behind the English team, but I have never seen them get behind City, ever !
Why is their such a contrast and who is pulling the anti City strings ?

tbf when are back room staff leaving ever worthwhile news beyond official club sites?

It is only used by MSM if they want to stir up about a rift withing the club and pointless in the close season.

I would ve pissed off if the bbc was reporting it, as it would be just for clicks and the opportunity for people to slag us off as they would

The cleft stick, yes they would use it as negative clickbait but Lilo aside I think a group of coaches who came with Pep from Bayern in 2016 being given the heave-ho is newsworthy. My point is that their football website is invariably saturated with redshirt fodder while positive City stories are deliberately neglected.

Though there’s a very pleasing story about Colin Rosler on there today, well worth a read. And a lot of comments suggesting other BBC sports writers could learn from it

Lillo is more important and more famous than every coach at City not named Guardiola. It is absolutely news he left.
 
Wow, the column inches given to Chelsea winning that third rate trophy is ridiculous. Nothing but mock if we ever get so bad to win the thing. Saying they've now won all European trophies is an utterly embarrassing statement

Give it a fucking rest There is no other football to talk about. They have just won it, it will be reported. How tiring is it getting annoyed and wound up about a scenario you have completely made up?

Took them 55 years ffs

We won the full set of English trophies all 4 within 12 months got dismissed as Charity Shield doesn’t count so nothing to see or report
