First story on Sky News is about the rags new signing, Fernandes! Then about them maybe signing the lad from Brentford, then dippers maybe signing Kerkez, then their reserve keeper going to Brentford, then City making an actual signing…

On the football channel we have: Premier League years 96/97, followed by 2 episodes of Neville interviewing, followed by “prem classics’, Rags v Dippers, followed by 2 x PL 100 clubs, featuring Fowler then Thierry Henry, then 2 x PL I cons, featuring Luiz Suarez, then Van Nistlerooy. After 2 super Sunday highlights, we move to something called ‘PL stories’, featuring Juan Mata, then a documentary about David James, a repeat of the Mata thing and, finally for today, another PL icons episode, featuring Cristiano Ronaldo…….
0030 tomorrow start with PL legends, Gary Neville!!

They don’t seem to realise there are 17 and a half other teams in the PL (Arsenal are the half team as, although they get a fair bit of coverage, compared to the other two, they don’t really.

I’d actually be amazed if anyone bothers with MUTV or LTV, if they’ve already got Sky….
They fill the channel with stories from 30 years ago.

Total fake blue on talkshite at the moment talking about our Saudi owners
I loved the Forest fan talking about a top 6 cartel always getting the decisions, name dropping us twice and the hosts agreeing with him.

They don’t get the irony that on the field in the FA cup final the red card which never was. Amongst other shocking decisions over the years.

Off the field they think we get all the decisions as despite the witch hunt, the 6 year investigation and tarnishing our reputation at every possible opportunity they think we get preferential treatment as Forest and others got a points deduction (for clearly being in breach of PSR) and we haven’t been deducted points yet.

I mean, if they had a brain.

There was quite an emotional article from the would-be bard that is Sam Wallace published in the Irish Independent and Daily Telegraph today. (The Irish papers source a lot of the Premier League news from English publications).
In the article, Wallace laments the imminemt demise of Jadon Sancho's career.
Alas, "there was no bigger name in the England u/17 squad that won [their] World Cup in 2017, albeit without Sancho at the end..."
(I wonder who won Player of the Tournament that year. Oh well, never mind because there was...)
"No more sought after prince across-the-water [than Sancho] four years later..." and "no player as highly rated in his age group" (to be fair, his own team-mates at Dortmund, Haaland and Bellingham were respectively one and four years younger and so couldn't possibly be considered to be in the same age bracket).
By the end of the piece, he absolves Manchester United of any input into Sancho's relegation from prospective generational talent to the role of a contractual turd that simply won't flush by comparing him to Pogba, Lukaku and Antony or, as he describes them, "[no-risk players who United thought] would guarantee them performances'
Sorry I can't provide a link (read it through my library subscription) but it is worth a read for the utterly weird feats of mental gymnastics involved.
Sam Wallace like his dad are Utd fans from Stevenage. His Dad taught my kids.

Who are the top 6 cartel ? Did anyone ask him ?

If he'd said top 15 cartel then I'd be more inclined to listen to him..... and that's the point. The rags are in the cartel but they are not a top 6 side but the quote is still said regularly.

Especially sick when you take into account the location of where Shipman’s murders took place and how many city fans live around that area.
I’m originally from that area and my aunts friend was one of his victims, a lot of people from the area have links to the victims.

Imagine being a city fan reading that and being related to one of shipman’s victims.

He’s a rancid, despicable ****.
Yep the **** needs a good hiding!

Yeah I remember it well, the sad lowlife has never got over it.
Coupled with the fact that numerous star players have left his shit club to win trophies with City explains why he's so bitter.

Bloody hell it’s not like we didn’t give them Ireland, Lescott & Richard’s…..
