Looks like we’re causing another rule change. They’re not happy on motd!
Spot on.
Yet another 'Johnny-come-lately' faux outrage solely aimed at us. Where have these herberts been over the last five years?
It's been commonplace timewasting during almost every Arsenal game (and with other clubs, too) for ages. We do it once and the football media goes mental..*
Mind, if it does (yet again) result in a law change, then might I suggest to Pep, please, organise a tactical campaign including both long throw-ins and crowding around the keeper at corner tactics, starting at Fulham on Tuesday. For sure, that'll see the football legislators spring into action once we start doing it..
(* For some reason, this overnight faux outrage aimed at City reminds of the old joke about how 'Willie the C*cks*cker' got his nickname..!!)
Edit: Should've added -
Being serious, when the stoppage occurred, we were confused by what was happening where we sit in the North stand. We couldn't see Donnarumma had 'a problem' and when Pep began waving frantically at the players to come to the touchline (and several Leeds players did so too, to their dugout area), I asked our gang 'Is there a crowd emergency or illness..?' Momentarily, it looked like a genuine problem to us. It was so bizarre to see a City team do that, especially in contrast to the regular timewasting activities we've seen from the likes of Arsenal in recent years..
