Apparently opposition fans feel things about Arsenal that they just don't feel about City. J.Liew on Sky Sports News. Whatever the fuck that means

Course they can, Arsenal haven’t been the most successful club in England over the last 15 years. Just like everybody else’s team apart from City.

It's difficult to know from what you have said, what Liew actually meant. If it's implying that opposition fans prefer Arsenal over us, then I don't see that, Arsenal are a laughing stock and have been for years. I suspect a poll of opposition fans wouldn't have them being preferred by much, if anything. And that's taking into account that generally speaking everyone hates serial champions

They aren’t impartial but anyone can see Reform got a ridiculous amount of air time for under representation of MPs. If the BBC didn’t want them in office they’d ignore them to avoid giving them a platform.
But that could be seen by some as racism.

That’s 100% what he will have meant mate.

When precisely did this place get overrun with gammons and conspiracy nutters?
I know the demographics on here lean older but I didn’t realise how much it has got stupider
Climate change deniers and Murdoch/GB News cheerleaders? FFS
Way before Ivette Cooper got to mod this thread.

None of those are impartial, one of the links is a petition that was rejected FFS.
I could link you no end of articles claiming the earth is flat but that in itself does not make the earth flat!
You said evidence, you didn’t say “evidence that satisfies me.” I spent three minutes finding that evidence. I didn’t peer review it. Perhaps ithe evidence doesn’t satisfy you. But I wonder if anything would. I also wonder if you read the research from Cardiff University that was referenced in the Guardian report.

I doubt it, frankly.

So I’m out now. If you want to change the rules halfway through the game I’m not the best person to play against.

Terrible isn't it? I can't for the life of me understand why populism is so popular. Sometimes I honestly think Murdoch media/GB news are just trying to get more viewers /readers, and a lot of politicians seem to be just after our votes.

When it reports on climate change issues, the BBC's Justin Rowlatt is wheeled out to hector and lecture us. For balance, I can't recall the BBC ever interviewing anyone with an opposing view.
Pretty sure David Bellamy and Johnny Ball both cast doubt on climate change, and weren't seen on TV again.....

The Raggettes aside
Woke up to the Mark Chapman Interview on BBC app guess what
Film on transcript of his latest dire tripe interview with you’ve guessed it Manager of the Month Carwreck

Just had a look at the last couple of pages. This thread is nuts at the best of time, but wow. Those last couple of pages.

That hybrid Liew has to be one of the worst out there.
He thinks he's some godlike genius with his writing for the tinpot paper he writes for.
Weird looking fucker too, looks like he's a man and a woman trapped in a man and woman's body.

I asked the OP what their evidence for the claim was. I didn’t say who it would or wouldn’t need to satisfy. You offered some evidence, I looked at it, and I concluded it wasn’t impartial. That’s how discussions and debates work—they evolve. They don’t begin with, or require, predefined terms of reference!

Spot on. They made a remark on talksport one of the days of this week that said even United fans will be rooting for us to win the league over arsenal, the reason being because it will be hilarious to once again see them bottle it. It was Simon Jordan if I remember right.

that salary point has annoyed me for a long time. Hugh Edwards £500k a year, Zoe fucking Ball £520k a year, Claudia Winckleman £500k, Alan Shearer £450k, Lineker £1.3m, Fiona Bruce £400k, Kusenburg £400k, Veron Kay £400k. Even Ros Atkins is on £300k and he does fuck all who presented City as guilty in a one-off biased "special". This is just ones listed as normal employees as well, any tax dodging people being paid by production companies (ie the whole Brendan O'Carroll family) are hidden. The list is almost endless, pure waste of cash on talentless boring wankers

all of them are absolute shit at what they do and could easily be replaced with people on a sensible £50k yearly wage. I've stopped paying my license as I find the above obscene
There's a definite need for sonebody to point out the king isn't wearing any clothes, regarding those figures.
I don't know if you're aware but there was an almighty fallout over pay deals in RTE a while back.
I won't go into the specifics of how they derailed the entire gravy train for themselves (thousands spent on flip flops for a staff beach party - that sort of thing) but the percieved wisdom had been that the top-earners HAD to be paid vast sums or the British or even American TV would swoop in and make off with 'the talent'.
The top-earmer, Ryan Tubridy, was on the bones of €500,000. (Some of it subsidised by a shady back door deal). Long and short of it: he's no longer at RTE and now earns closer to 60k with Virgin Radio.
Those who remain have had their wings clipped and so far, none have been offered the big deals 'out foreign' that it had been supposed they would be
