Just woke and thought I'd check in with the big 2 football platforms Sky and BBC about this weekends games.
Fuck all on either about City who are 2nd in the league and play a huge game tonight vs Newcastle with the chance of cutting the deficit down to just 2 points.
Plenty on both about what Arsenal (who don't play today) have to do in their quest for the title.
If someone at work was sulking and ignoring you for no reason you would mock them for it in front of others to try and get them to snap out of their immature behaviour.
Just gutted we can't do the same to the above 2, the immature wankers

I'm used to it mate.
It was the same with Liverpool when we was in battle with them, wall to wall red shite every other week, sky sports and the BBC cheerleaders for anything red, does my head in but it's standard from them clowns.

3 days after Declan Rice led an imploding Arsenal to a disastrous collapse at Wolves, increasing the likelihood that they’ll remain trophyless, the Mail run a 3 page spread canonising him

“He has transformed his game under elite coaching” !!

“He can do it all”

“Temperament may be Rice’s defining trait”

“One of the PL’s most influential players”

And of course no mention of Rice is ever complete without reference to his “moments of brilliance ……. pair of free kick goals against Madrid” - the only time this 27 year old central midfielder with over 400 games under his belt has ever scored from a free kick.

I was also going to post about the lack of any build up of today's game, from both BBC and Press.
I also was surprised that even the official website and on Bluemoon, there seemed to be relatively little early interest.
Anyway, unperturbed, I tuned in to TNT, ready and poised for the 12:30 kick-off!

Just arrived home 12.05am back to north wales from the game, just put match of the day on… recorded! Diaz yellow card shown, not one of any of the Newcastle players who were carded ? How the fuck did burn stay on the pitch? There is just no protection for haaland ,
So once again the biased broadcasting company careful editing strikes again! At least Rooney mentioned burn was on a yellow, but none of his persistent fouling shown !

Did the same.

Agree with all of that, 23.50 Fleetwood-by-the-Sea and again wondered where I'd been all evening as it wasn't much like what I was watching.

You can watch MOTD on the i player which means you don't have to record it.

Burn could very easily have been sent off but remember it's a highlights show. They aren't going to show every foul.

Having breakfast in palm lounge la manga and two chaps are setting up the snooker table for a game. One of them is a Geordie and was talking about the game last night and was gushing with praise for City and how he believes we are the best team in the league and should win the premier trophy.

I had the misfortune to see that, read out of curiosity.

They are obviously bigging him up for Player of the season.

The article was nothing more than a fanboy puff piece.

Watching the winter Olympics, and what a difference the commentary is. They have experts in the field explaining all the technicalities and are enthusiastic about every competitor. No partisan bullshit. Breath of fresh air.
You could say the same for any sport, bar football.

Been watching a bit of sky news etc this morning
Ffs can city cope with the pressure of chasing Arsenal cracks and vulnerabilities last night

Well remember they are not top they are 2 points behind

This is not a great team teams will take points off them

Highlights show the “four” goals and 2 near misses for Newcastle

I’m being driven to have a KK breakdown this will be the sweetest ever . I’ll absolutely love it ………
