Sly Stone has taken the day off.

Sami Mokbel - Senior football correspondent has replaced him at the TV licence fee payers expense.

Regardless of Sly taking the day off the fawning and guff about United’s new signings continues on BBC Football.

Wirtz transfer fee has dropped by £16mill according to Mokbel.

Compared to Haaland. Just like Poundland Haaland was when he arrived at United. Lol!
Another rag and picked from Roan's nethers no doubt.

How the rags can spend £214m and plan to spend more

"Club’s cash position has been bolstered by transfers of former players as well as some savvy cost-cutting measures to fall in line with PSR"

The sports pages of The Telegraph today are at pains to explain and justify the rags spending. Such blatant `support` is not afforded to any other club other than LFC.

This is a story of year on year losses and significant debt at a business run by absent billionaire owners in Monaco and America and ultimately through a company in the Cayman Islands. In effect, all this is endorsed by the Premier League who permitted exceptional allowances for utd. without which they would have failed PSR.

Meanwhile, the same client writer, Ducker, tried to promote utd`s case and acted as a cheerleader whilst he was on a free tour in the USA promoting the Old Trafford quest to get a new stadium to be paid for largely by others.

Back to more goings on off the field at Old Trafford, this is a club that is -

1. not in any European competition,
2. the highest spender on players after Chelsea,
3. always at or near the top of the salaries league,
4. incurring year on year losses,
5. laden with debt and has been an exemplar in mismanagement, and
6. struggling to offload those players it no longer wants.

In Ducker`s piece he failed to mention that any investigation into finances should have started out of town at Old Trafford.

You can tell the season is about to start.

There's 14 United articles on the Daily Mail online.

In comparison there's not a single City article.
To be fair the only thing I’ll say is the DM is reliant on clicks/advertising etc…same with Talkshite.
Both of them will absolutely pander to who will click/watch etc,the rags are a behemoth when it comes to plastic fans, same as the dippers, this is just a fact.
So 14 stories for the rags equals CLICKS MONEY VIEWING FIGURES etc, they’re simply not arsed about city we simply aren’t big enough(as a plastic fanbase)for them to target us,40000 hardcore Mancunian core support and we are definitely increasing our global fingerprint re fans, but you only have to look at the city YouTubers like typical city, esteemed kompany etc…their sub numbers are minuscule to the likes of Liverpool and the rags, even Arsenal are giants (look at AFTV).
It’ll take a few generations and continued success for us to compete etc.
Look how they give rolling HUGE coverage to the 115 stuff, because they KNOW this will give them astronomical amounts of clicks/views….but not from city fans but from their target audience Rags/dippers/cockneys….look how many views a city 115 vid featuring Stefan and Jordan gets on Talkshites YouTube channel…it dwarfs EVERYTHING else…we’re talking hundreds of thousands of views,go scroll through their vids….
So it’s just a case of trying to not take it personally.
Now the BBC that’s a different matter, them CUNTS should be more inclusive, they aren’t funded by advertisers but by you/me the fucking taxpayer…it’s them utter twats who really rile me.

Simon Stone has a major puff piece on the United training ground upgrade.

Fucking hell, the publicly funded Manchester United fanzine has pulled out all the stops with that shit, glossy promo pics and all.

"A barber in a training ground seems odd, but elite players often have their hair cut close to games. Having the availability of this on-site has the capacity to reduce stress"

Elite players?!

Simon Stone and the BBC are a national embarrassment.

BBC distorting Pep's injury update.

Pep reports that Rodri is recovering. might play minutes in August and should be fully fit after the first 3 games and the BBC headline is Rodri has had an injury setback. Yes 1 month ago. Spinning a story for other football fans.

Defo seems to a big shift this Summer to the media focusing only Utd and Liverpool. Even Arsenal are hardly getting a sniff. City are getting absolutely zero coverage on any media outlet.

Editors and producers having wet dreams about the thought of Utd and LFC fighting for the title against each other with their £1bn worth of new signings.

Not sure if our media guy moving to a role with Haalands agent has meant the reigns have been dropped - but there has been virtually nothing reported about City except 115 for the whole Summer.

It’s like our media team have just sacked it all off and can’t be arsed doing anything to get any positive coverage.

Just put the Advert channel on they had to interrupt the advert for some know nowt youtuber to talk about how great the rags are

All positive after blip last year

It's their year.

For all the employees laid off last year and the year before they'll have plenty of time to watch the rags if they can afford it thanks to scruffy Jim and his enabler Burnham The Butcher.

I predicted this would happen.
It was all about Arsenal when it came to hyping up the title battles with us.
But now the dippers unexpectedly won the title, Arsenal have been dropped like a stone.
Back to full on with the 2 red cousins of the East Lancs.
Normal service resumed in the English media

Positive coverage you say. Maybe the club should appoint you.

No.

I tried to follow him on Twitter, but his account is protected and you can't even follow him without him accepting the request.

Meanwhile the other lots have this guy.

The difference in positivity and negativity in respective coverage of United and City is incredibly striking There is literally no bad news whatsoever regarding united despite their reality whilst City is just a littany of setbacks.

To the point when hes done an article on Mason Greenwood, he mentions Foden getting sent home from England duty with him.
