Media discussion - 2025/26

Several papers highlighting the decline of Mainoo at United, this morning.
The Mail say it would be a shame for United to lose such a passionate and promising player. The Telegraph weep that his potential departure could spell the end of United's unique record of having an academy graduate in every team squad since 1066 etc etc
Nobody suggesting that his progress is being stifled by being forced to sit on the bench while 375k per week Casimero playes, though. None of them claiming that his future is being smothered by the glut of big money players at Old Trafford. No concerted campaign for him to get away from United for the good of English football or hey, at least, go out on loan... Funny that.
That's the last thing I want.

He played 12 times for us. The least appearances of any of his English clubs.
True. 3.3% of his playing career with us, 100% of the 'blame framing' for his crimes aimed at us..

It was ever thus.. it's always the same, we're 'bang to rights' each and every time some wazzock of a footballer who had the merest scintilla of a connection to us transgresses the law..

Fantastic article on the BBC regarding Rio Ngumoha's move to Liverpool....

"There is an acknowledgment at senior academy level inside Chelsea that this is a new era where Liverpool and Manchester United are now back at the top table of youth football.

Arsenal, Tottenham, Aston Villa and Newcastle are among those following just behind"
So how come City keep winning the leagues and reaching the finals?

Simple simon stone with a fawning match report on the ragettes stroll to victory.

He includes the estimated 100 traveling fans in it….

That's why they have bought 40 players between them

The cunts 100% do it on purpose.
It's so childish.

It amazes me how large corporations like the BBC and other broadcasting outlets like Sly Sports are willing to go to ingratiate themselves with the red top masses.

They've literally lost all sense of perspective and have completely bought into the idea that by slandering MCFC or ignoring us altogether will somehow galvanize their viewer rating.

It's bordering on commercial suicide if you ask me. I don't know if they've noticed, but MCFC is one of, if not the most successful football club in recent history.

We all know how fickle the average rag fan is, and it won't be too long in the grand scheme of things before they're recycling their "Mbuemo" top for a "Haaland" replica shirt (unfortunately that's the sad state of affairs these days).

At some point in the next fifteen to twenty years MCFC will become the proverbial gravy train for a lot of media personalities and pundits and companies like the BBC will be left behind.

I can’t see Sky existing for another 10 years too many off shore companies getting more and more visible and accessible notably DAZN

As for the BBC they are already fucked once license fee get abolished it’s over for them they’ve lost all their mainstream contracts from memory the only major sporting event they seem to still have is probably Wimbledon
