Media discussion - 2025/26

Fucking hell had to turn the tv off, just heard a dipper saying the way the club conducts itself is beyond reproach - fuck me the piss throwing, bus bricking, little girl maiming, database hacking, illegal approaching scouse cunts
What was the saying spoken by one of Hitlers top men, “the more you tell a lie the sooner it becomes the truth”. Or something along those lines, this now applies to the frothing feral fans of the red scousers the giddiness of the rag fans, and of course the complicit media..

And don't forget Heysel.... oh yeah that's for the fans not the club.

apart from that .......
and their Standard Charter money laundering sponsor - and their Heysel riot - and their death cults - and their support for the IRA - and their insulting the late Queen's funeral - and their disrespect of the national anthem - and their utter criminality - and their hypocrisy - and their lies - and their self pity ..... perish the thoughts ;-)

I think people are wrong when they say BBC Football doesn't have any coverage of City on their website.

There are currently 3 City articles on the BBC Football website about City. ;-)

As others had said, there is no mention of City's 0-3 win against Palermo last night.

Rodri going to Madrid.

Question.

Why are BBC United - Mediacity and Sly Stone nothing but Rag (PR) Shills c*nts?

BBC yet again an absolute joke. Complete blank of our game last night compared to live text reports on everything Rags. Isn't it about time our so called Media team took them to task and threaten them with a complete ban from the groun

You missed the 'Gareth Taylor going to the dippers' story :)

Just penned a furious volley at the City media team for their intertia via the OS contact form - should give them a laugh

Prejudicial reporting and false equivalence combine to promote the redshirt cartel in every Stone/Roan BBC article about City.

Our national broadcaster is a major cheerleader for the cartel attempts to destroy us through its 'cheating dirty Arab team' narrative. The club media team needs to fight back - it is letting the fans down by its silence. The complete absence of any report by them about the Palermo game yesterday contrasts starkly with live text feed about the United Fiorentina game - but you know all this, you read the City forums, they record it's been going on for more than a decade. Pull your fingers out!
Well our media/PR team want a good swift kick up the arse.

Very odd, the main BBC sport football homepage has just 3 mentions of us, the first is the gossip pages where Rodri's future is worrying as he hasn't committed to a new contract yet, the 2nd is Pep's comments re, Rodri's injury and the 3rd is about the dippers signing Gareth Taylor after we sacked him for their womens team.

You have to go to the City specific page for a 70 (yes, just seventy) word write up of last nights game.

"Manchester City concluded their pre-season preparations with a commanding victory over Palermo in their only summer friendly.

Summer signing Rayan Cherki set up Erling Haaland for the opening goal in the first half before being replaced at half-time by fellow new boy Tijjani Reijnders.

In the second half, the Dutch midfielder impressed with two slick finishes to establish his credentials before Man City open the season at Wolves on Saturday."

I thought it was Lewis that set up Haaland. Players should be ban from changing their hair styles

I'm done.

25 mins of watching the scousers.

Is this the sycophantic sports media were going to have to suffer with all season?
Scored in the 20th minute and Darren Fletcher said that's because Jota was looking down at them fucking did it for me. We're going to get this all season.

It's like saying every time the rags score in the 58th minute The Busby Babes are looking down at them
