I prefer the media crying and having their piss boiled. If I want to read a proper account of 'the pep years' I'll wait until @Gary James pulls his finger out and updates his book or writes another..

How City's 'Council House Kids' knocked United off their Perch
- the headline from a (surprisingly fair) two page article in the Daily Mail today by.... (astonishingly) Ian Ladyman. Must be Opposotes Day or something.
Sorry I can't provide a link.
These days, I get my papers (for free) on the app provided by my local library which doesn't allow sharing.
PS: joining your local library isn't only highly recommended for all sorts of reasons btw, but the way politicians like to close down libraries, you should consoder it your civic duty yo register as a user.
I use to speak to him in the Oak in Didsbury 15-20 years ago, definite dipper, but was still the Daily Mail rag reporter. Neil Custis was the same Toon supporter but was a reporter for the rags, I think for the Mirror. Both became a bit stand off-ish when City were getting it all together.I ALWAYS thought he was a rag.
Hahah I’m in Spoons Midd and just laughed out loud at that.
If we win there will be even less the day afterConsidering it’s one of the biggest derbies in English football and in the world, there isn’t much about it in the media the day before.

It’s only big to us and United fans. Same as Liverpool Everton, Arsenal Spurs. Football has become that sterile the derbies aren’t what they used to be beyond the two sets of fans of the clubs playing.Considering it’s one of the biggest derbies in English football and in the world, there isn’t much about it in the media the day before.
Good job, because the football is shiteIt’s only big to us and United fans. Same as Liverpool Everton, Arsenal Spurs. Football has become that sterile the derbies aren’t what they used to be beyond the two sets of fans of the clubs playing.
The only Derby in British football that gets any kind of build up and where you can sense the hatred from the outside, is the Glasgow Derby, and that’s because it’s for non-football matters.
Needs de-funding and gutting.
