How’s this Charlie Austin bellend got this job on Sky?

Was shit, never achieved a fucking thing, thinks he’s the cleverest man in the room, knows fuck all about the game and looks a right ****.
Clinton Morrison says "hi"

It's all part of Sly Sports strategy, to help make the viewers feel intelligent.

Watching Breakfast tv this morning, the sports presenter, a short arsed look at me type, speaking about Ricky Hattons funeral said "there would have been united fans putting aside the divide and wearing a City shirt for the day!!....they wouldn't do that and we wouldn't allow or want them to do that!!, there were reds there without any problems, why say that up, what a knob.
I suspect they were being metaphorical but regardless, how exactly do you think "we" wouldn't allow that?

There was a supposed rag who commented somewhere on the bbc website that he did put on the new city shirt as a mark of respect for Ricky, for the funeral - but who knows if it’s true?

I can’t remember who it was, but someone they interviewed on the BBC coverage said that Ricky was a true legend of Manchester, along with Ferguscum and a couple of scum players…good job for him that Ricky wasn’t there or he would have punched his lights out…don’t know if it was intentional or what, but I thought “you c*nt”

Just seen some articles on MSN about interest from middle east billionaires interested in the rags. Just wondering if they were actually bought by one of these sheiks, would the rags be treated in the same way City have been treated over the last 17 years by our media. Or will it be " this is great news for the Premier League and football in general".
I think I know which way the media will flow and we will still be the bad guys.
You answered your own question;)

Baring in the mind the rags track record in gazumping our transfer targets and punching our staff AND still doing rubbish it doesn’t worry me. They could be bought by a Middle East billionaire, spend loads of money AND still be poor.

When my best mate and his son died in March we celebrated their lives in Bridge after the Palace game loads of Tameside rags joined us and wore blue T shirts same at my mates sons funeral. My mates was a black tie job

None went as far as wearing a City shirt the token wearing of blue was more than enough

Incidentally Ricky went to both funerals

We all know how it would be portrayed

It’s only football that the media can print so many lies and untruths, no other sport would allow it.

At my 21 year old nieces funeral my other nieces husband wore a City shirt carrying the coffin in spite of being a huge United fan. I remarked on it and he said he would do anything for Emily. I asked what if she'd been a Liverpool fan, he said no, their are limits. A rare moment of humour on a deeply sad day.
