Yes.

Last time they won the title was 38 years ago. Never won the CL. Never even been in it. They’ve won fuck all for 30 years.

There’s literally no universe where they are the 4th biggest club in the country.
I think they probably were, up to the point where Hitler annexed the Sudetenland.

With regards to Jack being able to play against City I am almost certain that the rules have slightly changed and if both parties agree then players can play against their respective clubs.
From the PL

In the Premier League and FA Cup, a loan player cannot be fielded against his parent club.

The Football Association's rule for men's FA Cup football is that a loan player "cannot play in a competition match against their parent club", while the Premier League handbook states that "during the period of the temporary transfer... a player shall not play against the transfer club".

Players can face their parent club in the League Cup, according to English Football League rules, but that club must give written consent.

I knew I`d read it somewhere but it was in European Competitions where its allowed.

"Players can face their parent club in the League Cup, according to English Football League rules, but that club must give written consent.

Uefa rules dictate that clubs cannot apply "any influence whatsoever over the players that another club may [or may not] field in a match".

That means a player can face their parent team in any of Uefa's European competitions".

I thought it was, mainly because of the possibility of a corrupt performance to benefit the players real club.
Also, imagine a player leaves on loan in January and he's on a huge bonus if his parent club win the league and they are due to meet very late in the season

They're unlikely to be going all out if it's going to cost them £Millions.
Even if they do, players can have poor games and it leaves them open to all sort of accusations.

If you want to see blatant anti city/clickbait
Football365 are waiting for the verdict and hoping we get deducted points and relegated , so much so that they’ve done a player by player compilation where they think they’ll end up once we are relegated.

Sneak preview- cherki after 71mins isn’t suited to the prem, he’s off to inter
Reinders to the scum
What’s one more player wholly unsuited to the system of a failing manager who’s got another season to go.

They do the whole squad

You get the picture
Sounds exactly like the one they did in march, updated to include cherki and reijnders

Click bait obviously working…

I'm pretty sure the rules changed in 2004 when Lomana LuaLua scored for Portsmouth against his parent club Newcastle and then Newcastle complained to The Premier League. The rules were then amended for the 2004/05 season that loan players could not play against their parent club in The Premier League.

Also remember around that time Tim Howard had a really shit game for Everton against his parent club the rags and eyebrows were raised.
