Media discussion - 2025/26

I'm pretty sure the rules changed in 2004 when Lomana LuaLua scored for Portsmouth against his parent club Newcastle and then Newcastle complained to The Premier League. The rules were then amended for the 2004/05 season that loan players could not play against their parent club in The Premier League.

Also remember around that time Tim Howard had a really shit game for Everton against his parent club the rags and eyebrows were raised.

Didn't the bully loan 2/3 top keepers around the league so they had to play reserve keeper against them
Not 100% but feels like this happened 1 season

From memory … there was 5?

I remember the days of DOS 3.3… the skipped days of DOS 4.x and the joy of DOS 5…I think I went to a launch event for it… FOC
"Only" 6 from a quick Google, unless you wanted Work Groups which added another couple. It seemed like way more mind, not helped by how long each disk took to be read.

Chris Sutton can't believe that city aren't letting jack play against us on Saturday .
There was an Andy Dunn article in the Daily Mirror yesterday, about Jack not being able to play.
Although it did say that the Premier League were denying the current most exciting player in the PL, to play, it read as a hatchet job on City being the bad guys.
Oh, Andy Dunn supports Everton...

This should Jack play against us the press/media are seriously thick.
Imagine if Jack scored an own goal, gave a penalty away, seriously injured a City player, Jack had a poor game etc. These same press/media would be screaming Jack deliberately helped City.

As soon as a ref goes to Saudi to ref a game the thick cunts say he’s on our books but they actually want a player that we still pay & can control his future to play.

Ahhh Edit - DOS 5 heaven after the painful edlin.

To be fiddled with The superb Manifest from Quarterdeck, to find memory holes to use in the above.

NB apologies to the nonIT nonFOC members for derailing the thread
Frantically running memmaker to get those pesky mem hungry drivers into upper memory so I could run Xwing on my 4mb machine.
Those were the days
I can barely remember those dos commands these days but it was fun. Especially staring at the screen for an hour watching defrag.

Oh jolly day. It's Peps presser. Let's see what inane utterings the lemmings come out with that they think are really insightful, intelligent questions that they will pose to Pep.

I love the look of utter disdain, and irritability Pep has at times with the UK mob. The foreign press do actually ask about football and have more knowledge and RESPECT for Pep - a behaviour sadly lacking towards him by any of the British 'all teams in red cartel' media fanboyz.

Only seeing quotes from Pep on BBC Sport at the moment, about how long he's staying and answering about if he needed a break.

I'd like to know what questions were asked to prompt his responses if anyone knows?

No f*cking way any of them would have been asking Ferguson about him going when he'd been at the club ten years. No f*cking way.

He said he'd think about it in 2035.

Anything but an arse-licking question, was "rewarded" with a press-ban for the reporter.
I really hope the media have the bottle to fully expose his bullying behaviour, when he croaks it.
Perhaps a few referees might also find a pair of bollocks and share some stories ?
