The BBC has the player scores of City no higher than 4.9 and Villa player at 8.5, the average score for a City player was 5.6 and the average for a Villa player was about 7.5.

All the other stats apart from the goal were in our favour with more possession shots etc, the disparity between the scores is a joke.

Didn't milner get a rating out of ten one week when he either wasn't in the squad or was on the bench and didn't come on?

Both teams were poor. Villa created nothing apart from a couple of set pieces. The quality of football from both sides was very low with relentless misplaced passes.

The BBC player ratings are determined by its readers, and hardly any City fans bother with them these days so not very likely to get an unbiased assessment

Sterling once got voted MoTM in a game City won easily (on MoTD and on here) but his score was the lowest of either team on the BBC (something like 4.5 when the next lowest City player was 6.5). I emailed the BBC to suggest their system was open to abuse but they just brushed it off.

It’s a load of rubbish.

I listened to Talksport for 10 mins yesterday morning and noticed a clever little snide tactic by Custis on his show. I presume Henry Winter had been positive about City - which they countered with a text from a listener saying nothing City have done should be applauded - 115 - cheating etc. Custis finished by saying “City APPARENTLY claim they are innocent”

Job done for them. The ‘text’ probably written by one of the production team
