Seems the beeb are pushing the 'city are, and always have been, a one man team' narrative again

"Four years on (from Aguero leaving) , do City find their fortunes tied once again to the fitness and form of a lethal striker with unique attributes and singular talent?

The Arsenal fan in the article runs a Coffee Latte podcast, living up to the Tarquins tag.

I wonder if that's a view held by most British managers ? That would explain how many teams managed by British managers use to roll over for pisscan and gift them 3 points.
you just have to listen to press chat after games it;'s a pleasure to lose to them
fat sam pulis warnock .... the list goes on

It's funny how Sergio has now become, in the BBC''s biased eyes, a "lethal striker etc.".
I don't remember him getting anywhere like the plaudits and respect he should have received, when he was playing ?
Just like David Silva, poor old Sergio was never appreciated by the media or the Premier League...
Sergio was never voted PFA player of the year. KDB never won a player of the month in his whole time with us. Let those sink in.

Completely agree that Pulis, Fat Sam and all the ex-players of the Trafford Tramps (Bruce, Hughes etc), rolled-over for the GPC.
But, in a recent interview with Warnock, he stated that he doesn't respect the GPC, one bit.
Also said that Pep is the best manager he has faced.
Although, I believe Warnock is an odd beggar, in that he could change his mind immediately...

There was an Interesting comment from Paul Ross on talkshite this morning (very early morning) when mentioning the 115 charges. Apparently we were found Guilty by the UEFA (CAS) investigation, but were not able to serve any penalties because the case was time barred. Another flippant remark without checking the facts as per usual.

Not interesting as it's wrong.

But why will we remove Haaland out of the equation? He is a player contracted to City and his job is to score goals, which he is doing perfectly! BIZZARE

Talking about doing their jobs perfectly, Merson should learn a bit or two from Haaland coz he has always been pathetic at punditry (which is a terrible excuse of a job in the first place)!

Perhaps he should talk a bit about his club Arsenal and remove the set-pieces and long throws out of the equation; Arsenal will get relegated then since they can't score without it.
