The same Sunderland that drew 3-3 with us at The Etihad. Also if we're talking conspiracies, what about Sunderland rolling over and letting United win easily, with their ex player John O'Shea as captain!

Hopefully from 2027 our Champions League games won't be broadcast and narrated from the viewpoint of a bunch of bitter red shirt wankers:
That’s a bastard. Was in my mum’s belly at the time.My Dad went to Anfield in 1956 for a FA Cup replay. City beat Scousers 2-1 and went on the win the Cup. There was controversy as a Liverpool player Billy Liddle scored what would have been an equaliser, but as he was shooting the Ref blew the final whistle. My Dad said the Scousers were not happy.
It's a wonder the panel don't go back and review that.

Lol, we took the TITLE out of their enTITLEment that day..........that video never gets old.One of the best Poznan's I've seen ;-)
The only team to come away with a point that season. The same Sunderland that drew 3-3 with us at The Etihad.
I honestly can't believe it is still generating headlines as if it was a title deciding game on the last Saturday of the season. They were never getting anything from that game as we played them off the park, and they had already lost too many to realistically defend their title. Non story. The fact that it's still an ongoing issue for them, and that it's even still being debated on the BBC is fucking hilarious and if you don't see that I don't know what to say to you, do you think if it was the other way round it would still be being talked about ? They never let anything go,read the comments on the article then get back to me !
Phil Jones at the end of their match always reminds me of...If depressed, watch this. Never fails to cheer me up.

Or anything other than his bank account.Sutton on his bbc predictions reckons City beat a poor Liverpool last time out. Newcastle are an all round stiffer test apparently. He obviously doesn't study the table.

My first cousin is a chief executive for Paramount+ (I'm 100% dead serious) who is heavily involved in these dealings. He recently gave me the breakdown on City's new exclusive deal with Paramount+ in the States. Trump isn't connected to Paramount+ other than threatening to scupper their merger deal with a lawsuit if certain higher ups weren't given the boot.Trump TV covering the Champions League exclusively.

Stan Laurel……(apologies for the insult Stan)Phil Jones at the end of their match always reminds me of...
Remember leaving the stadium thinking we'd blown it that night. But that fightback, to get that one point, turned out to be the most important point of the season. Fitting that the Mackems were able to witness the rags hope, premature celebrations and ultimate despair on that famous day.The only team to come away with a point that season.
Just had a look at the final table and we finished 37 points above Liverpool in 8th place, 19 ahead of Arsenal in third.
