You’re absolutely correct that different parts of the BBC have different editorial stances. Contrast Newsnight with Question time for instance.

Which is why to say that the BBC is not right wing is ridiculous. Parts of it are very right wing,

And as to backing Reform, there is no editorial policy that says “we think reform should be the next government.” What there is is a deliberate policy to give Reform a disproportionate amount of airtime.

Is that backing reform? You make your own mind up on that

Plenty of gooner baiting going on talksport. Jordan just said it’s good to see Arsenal faltering as nobody wants to see them run away with it. Add to last night and the tone of the callers ringing in, safe to say there is plenty of head popping going on in Norf Landan.

No mention of not taking advantage of free tickets.

Could you imagine what would happen if the big yellow van that used to park outside the social club at Maine Road turned up at the Etihad

I was impressed when he asked Pep the question at the press conference - I thought then what the actual fuck.
Scrolling through his previous articles, he is a country mile ahead of 99% of football journalists. The boy does his research and doesn't seem to have a bias.
If anything he's in awe of Pep...so I'd say he has bias, but it's bias that is intelligent, nuanced and backed up with evidence. Like Nedum, Nevin and then I start to run out!

The whole biased red cartel press pack must be wondering how a 115+ IQ (see what i did) journalist/analyst is making them look further like stupid, bickering, mard-arses.

It's still a wonder how he was allowed to be the BBC guy asking questions, presumably a mistake by his bosses - Stone & Roan, that they are now frantically trying to ensure will not happen again. But if the guy does get to future Pep news conferences, City PR better start singling the guy out to be the 1st (of many) in the queue of questions .

And this is where the ‘I’ve done my research’ group usually go wrong. They listen to extreme views, usually without any factual foundation, and without the critical thinking skills to know any better. It’s these types of channels, inc social media, that have done more damage to democracy over the last 15 years than anything else. It’s also why certain people think the BBC is too ‘left’, because they become so accustomed to listening to views that are so far to the right. It means anything more down the middle comes across as ‘left’ to them.
Lol.

Looked at a few of his articles which you can access if you 'follow' him on the bbc website. He writes some good stuff about other teams but I agree with you he comes back to us a lot. It was so unusual to hear someone that knows quite a bit about football tactics and articulated himself very well. You could tell Pep nearly fell off his chair in astonishment after nearly 10 years of complete dross.

Funny the comments are turned off for this article.

Do Reform receive a disproportionate amount of airtime? What is your evidence for this?

I can't see the graph it refers to or how the data was compiled, even if I could I'm not sure I would accept it on face value given it's a pro-Scottish-Independence publication. Also, what I can see talks about Reform appearing more than the Greens, I'm not sure I am surprised by that. It also only discusses question time which is a tiny amount of the overall output by the BBC.
If you're accepting that as evidence that Reform receive more air time than any other party you're easily persuaded.
