The hat test is great. I always get greetings from fellow Blues which is great. But the abuse from bitter Rags has all but vanished. They are broken.

I am running* a 5k on Sunday and I will be wearing a City shirt. The event is deep in Surrey so there will inevitably be lots of Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal fans there, along with a smattering of rubbin' rags.

I know the organiser and I have asked if I can have 115 as my race number.

*I say running, but there will be lots of walking. I have also taken the sensible precaution of checking out the route and ensuring that there's plenty of space for the air ambulance to land.

I’ve directly argued with Delaney before, when you challenge him he has little to no substance behind his arguments. I pressed him on “Sports Washing” and why buying a sports club in the most toxically partisan sport in the world, is a good way to improve your reputation, especially when said club will be challenging the established elite of the sport and ruffling feathers just by improving.

He had no real response and ended up just not responding when I pressed him. They do this all the time, leave cheap remarks and then have nothing behind it.

1st of all, don't use the word far right, because you don't realise how far away you are. But it is very noticeable that a far left trope is to accuse somebody, they don't agree with, as far right. The oft repeated trope that the BBC actively employs horrific sex-offenders and constantly covers Starmer’s back is a far-right trope.

There’s a lot of issues with the BBC: its pandering to middle-England, its upmost commitment to protect to the British establishment, its lack of balanced reporting on issues such as the genocide in Palestine and the US’s mistakes in Iran; but the idea that it is a haven of left-wing radicalism and is an attack dog for Labour and it’s Prime Minister is utterly ludicrous and has no basis in reality.

I’d be ashamed of myself if I came out with bollocks like that and you’d never hear from me again.

The elephant is the room is that some of these pundits hate City, and have always hated City, because of the ethnicity of our owner. It is essentially racist and comes from a very bad place. The whole concept of sportswashing is based on a racist ideology that our owner can’t invest his wealth for profit like anyone else. The sub narrative is: “You can’t trust Arabs and they are all the same.” Delaney in particular has visceral hatred towards our club. It needs calling out for what it is.

Spot on! In their world Arabs can never accumulate personal wealth, and their culture and traditional values cannot be tolerated. The irony is they themselves are no better than the 18th/19th century Western colonialists they despise when they want to force Western values onto said Arabs!
