Those cnuts at the Mail. We need to nip this ‘mass exodus’ shit firmly in the bud with a high profile signing, otherwise these bastards will try and undermine our squad togetherness all fucking summer
Don't worry about it. We've got a couple of weeks of made up bullshit for clicks until the WC starts. It's only the rags that do their transfer business via the tabloids

Always reported to be signing every decent player under the sun and then end of signing sub standard players on big money contracts

BBC news item on Milners retirement. 3 pics shown - Newcastle, Dippers, Brighton..... I'm sure there was another team in the middle of that somewhere....
Yeah, but he won something with the dippers.

They could have mentioned he'd won something with us as well, but that would have meant needing to get Dan Roan on to explain what the 115 charges could mean for his medals

pretty influential in the sickswan iirc, they won't want to be highlighting that...
but nor will they comment on that chop-job at Anfield...

Apparently Beckham wants Pep at Inter Miami. If Pep needs a break, he won't be doing any club management for the foreseeable. If Pep does go back to club management, I'd hope he goes to a club in the City Football Group. No doubt the press would like Pep at Inter Miami with Beckham, but not very likely I hope.
Awkward when they play NYCFC

Manchester City duo Josko Gvardiol and Rodri have refused to rule out shock exits this summer - and will decide on their futures after the World Cup.

City are in a period of transition after Pep Guardiola stepped down as manager after 10 years in charge, with his former assistant, Enzo Maresca, expected to take over.

The likes of long-serving players Bernardo Silva and John Stones have also departed - but Gvardiol has now refused to rule out his own exit too.

'We've all seen the rumours coming from all sides,' the Croatian said this week, via Marca. 'I'm happy at Manchester City, I have everything I need.

'Before the injury, I played every game and almost every minute. After the World Cup, we'll see what happens.'

And Rodri, who won the Ballon d'Or in 2024, has echoed his team-mate.

'It's part of football,' he said on speculation linking him to Real Madrid. 'I'm focused on being a leader in the national team.

'That's my path. I understand the noise, but I'm not going to spend my time on that. We'll see after the World Cup.'

We do very well for a club that has all the players wanting to leave at every opportunity.

They've been at it for a decade. Not worked so far ....what we do need is to get the new manager in so that the inevitable shakedown is over early in the transfer window. I do expect some more big names to go though . It's inevitable but nothing to do with the Daily Fail .
