I like Joe but you can see now that whilst he was a decent shot stopper it only took a drop in confidence and he became very average. His distribution was his big downfall, his shot stopping was decent but some of the other England lads are no different. He just isn't at that level anymore to be guaranteed #1.

If Pep could guarantee that we would have the ball for 100% of the match then in his mind we don't need a goalkeeper and actually Silva could go in net.. Ederson is the happy medium to get him that. It is just a completely different way of thinking.

It isn't Pep's fault that Joe just isn't good enough.

Surely distribution has never been a big thing in this country till pep came along,it was old fashioned english keepers of which joe was very good at,bit unfair to keep chucking distribution at him

Wenger's hypocrisy and propaganda is understandable as he looking out for himself but for a politician to start parrotting it verbatim is beyond the pale.

Celebrating that they rip their fans off more than any other club in the world while playing in the EMIRATES stadium. The lack of awareness is staggering

I would rate Ederson as more than just a happy medium.
