I have resisted the urge for so long to paint the media as utterly biased. I spend a fair amount of time with reporters in my work, and while they are always looking for an angle and you have to be careful what you say to them, in general I've been a believer that as a rule most reporters try to avoid personal perspective unless editorializing. Of course, these are the business press so perhaps their neutrality is more firmly ingrained.

Having said that, I'm now a convert. The unbelievable rag stroke-fest was nauseating in CNBC. Pogba, whose "first touch is worth 50 mm"; Lukaku and Matic "the duo of the season" after ONE HALF of football -- that was all I could stand. They are are BEGGING for the rags to recover. They don't even try to hide it. The hypocrisy, the fawning -- they aren't football pundits or football fans -- they are Utd fans, period, end of. That's all they are, and all they ever will be.

I am hereby boycotting rag matches save the derbies for the season, as well as pre-game, post-game and half-time bullshit for all matches. I have had it.

I just refuse to watch the Rags at all,apart from the derby clash.The anus licking is truly nauseating.

And you call yourself a football fan? How can you not be delighted that Man Yoo are top of the league and not only that, they have done it on a shoestring. Finding players from lower league teams like Juve and for £8.90 having a midfielder who not only can put together some great ex rapper turned grandad dancing but has actually scored a goal.
I've bought tickets in advance for a few games at the Etihad but not sure I'll bother given the raggies are so good and that's without even seeing some of the refs in their side who'll swing the games for them.
Obama wanted to close Guantanamo but hasn't been able to as it's working a treat now and with no bodily harm to the prisoners - only the hardest and mentally toughest can withstand 24 hour looped Goldberg, Wio, Phil Neville, Eamon Holmes, Rachel Riley, Paddy Crerand full volume telling them just how great Yoonited are....they're singing like canaries. "I'll have the cucumber up the arse and pliers on my balls but please God/Allah turn the Ginger Pip and ugly fuck Neville off"

I neither read any newspapers nor watch any games on tv unless city are playing. When I do watch them I turn the sound off and listen to radio manc. Time we all did that then threads like this would be unnecessary.

Why lambast city, then applaud the rags and not even a whiff of how much the team cost.
