Well, again...not to sound like thunder**** in this thread like....but what is actually lies about that? He 'could' seek a move in January, couldnt he? Its a shite story yes, as you say no facts or anything. But is it incorrect?
Shit quality yes, wrong no.

But it's not a story. It's just a figment of a journalist's mischievousness. I.e. Bullshit paper filler for the gullible.

No quotes, no insider details. I prefer to listen to Augero, Pep and Kaldoon who all say he's staying.

Just like White rattling on for two days about a story that had no logic in the substance then announcing as an exclusive that it wasn't happening.

Exactly mate. I value the opinion of most people on here more than most journalists. Anyone can put their thoughts on paper; it's just they have a bigger audience.

F***ing Daily Fail and Ian Herbert at it again on the back of the bulls*** Sterling swap with Sanchez story.

And of course Herbert had to bring the Rags into it as a comparison.

Seriously, when are City going to start banning these papers?

Raheem Sterling's statistics show Pep Guardiola has not developed him as a player... why is his value so low under the Manchester City manager?
  • Pep Guardiola was hailed for his ability to develop young players upon his arrival
  • The Manchester City manager has failed to develop winger Raheem Sterling
  • Sterling was considered in a makeweight in City's pursuit of Alexis Sanchez
  • The 22-year-old is set to remain at the Etihad but now knows he is dispensable
  • It is inflammatory to make Manchester United the point of comparison when considering what Pep Guardiola has shown himself willing to do with a young English talent, but the story of Jimmy Murphy and Bobby Charlton is too appropriate to pass up.

F*ck me. I'm no Sterling mega-fan but there can be no doubt that Sterling has improved since he came to us.
Indeed, the fact that we never offered Sterling for Sanchez in the first place seems to have totally passed the fecker by.
There comes a point where people need to be made accountable for their actions and this is that time for Herbert. It is time to ban him from the Etihad till he makes a retraction as a major story in the Fail.

"made accountable for their actions". A journalist writes a typically weighted piece, thus ensuring he gets a reaction. I'd say he's doing his job exactly as his paymasters want him to. Journalists are paid to inform and to create debate. 'Twas always thus. The Daily Mail's website is the single most popular news website IN THE WORLD. And you've just helped ensure it stays that way.
