Absolute gutter reporting but look at the headline alongside it 'Bilic blasts Sullivan'. In fridays paper it was 'Koeman blasts Wayne' or Klopp says Rebel not fit to play'.

Its continual sensationalised nonsense with attention grabbing headlines which never reflect the comments of the manager. The Sun or talksport are the worst but sadly people seem to prefer reading or listening to this sensationalised nonsense and as a consequence its becoming more and more prevalent in all other forms of the media which is starting from a low point anyway.

Walker is next and of course, the club as a whole is on the end of one as well imo.

Fuck them all!
It seems that the media are trying to deter any good English players from signing for city.

When guardiola came to city, he mentioned that he wanted the core of city team to be English players. As he had a core of Spanish and German players at Barca and Bayern. The simple reason being that national players get protection from refs and FA in the domestic competitions whichever league they are in (admittedly more so in England). Guardiola being an experienced and intelligent person understood that. And the club signed sterling as a result and walker this year. However these players are hounded by the media to deter Delle Ali and other good players from possibly signing for city I think future. Because if city have enough of good English players who make up the national team, they will have to give protection to these players and city which they do not want to do for reasons already understood by majority of city fans. That seems to be one of the reasons sterling has been hounded since he signed for city and it will go the same way for walker unfortunately.

Whilst what you're saying unquestionably has a degree of truth about it, the difference is that the other examples you cite are rooted in reality. Klopp probably has told his rebel that he's not fit to play, because, erm, he isn't playing, and Koeman probably has blasted rooney, because the fat little pubic hair head has completely embarrassed Everton Football Club. The Sterling headline however is the polar opposite of what was said, not so much sensationalism as a total media fabrication for the benefit for the global army of bitter dippers and sundry other City haters

Excellent response, however some people for whatever reason simply can not see the very obvious point you are making in your last sentence.

See this is where I do not understand the argument. Its written time and time again its all about click bait so why would the Sun try to appeal to Liverpool fans when its well known they have boycotted the paper? It would make no sense.

I appreciate most on here view it through the City prism, personally I think the press such as the Sun and the rest of the gutterpress are low life garbage and treat everyone with disdain when it suits them.

You say Koeman has 'probably' blasted Rooney. If you cannot evidence that through the content of the article then its a fabrication just like man up was about Sterling. What makes Coutinho a rebel?

We have seen the press at work this week hounding the rooney and whatever we think of him his wife and kids do not deserve being chased/followed by the press in car. It speaks volumes about the press for me.

BBC 5live promoting the dippers and rags very heavily for their CL coverage. We get an "As well as reports on Man City at feyennord" at the end.
