I am sure they can, I wouldn't put anything beyond them. Although they and the rags are equally despicable as clubs and a fan base I am beginning to see why the rags hated them to an extent I found hard to fathom a few years ago. Not anymore! I also want to know my that lanky toothy git Klopp hasn't been charged for his post match comments, particularly implying Ederson was play acting.

I agree
I hate Dippers more than Rags

1. I'd really like to see Tony fuckin Gale take studs to his face at speed and wave to anyone after being knocked out. The utter cnut.
Ederson's back in training today is that ok?
2. So after Sutton et al start saying the red card should be rescinded dippers go ahead and try it. FFS! Did anyone in the media say MCFC should appeal to have Kyle Walkers second yellow v Everon rescinded?? No! Did we try? No! Cos there's no point we'd get deducted points for thinking about it.

And anyway I thought once the ref had made his decision it couldnt be overturned?

Bent the fuckin lot of it.

If segio had gone in head high on mignolet and cut his face leading to him having stitches what would be the media reaction if we appealed?

Got to laugh at the opening lines of the Liverpool Echo's review of the game:
Never a dull moment with Liverpool this season. And the five-goal thriller at Manchester City on Saturday was another example of how the Reds are the team to watch.
To be fair, they then go on to say that all five goals were scored against Liverpool but take a bow whoever put that spin on it.

Either the pundits (generally ex players) are biased (understandable) or they're a bit thick. It really doesn't take much thought to realise that the reason the rule about "endangering" a player was brought in to prevent a very serious injury. They may all say "My manager would shout at me if I pulled out of a challenge like Mane's" or "It's not like it was in my day" but they're missing the point completely. The fact is that Mane knew Ederson was there whether he looked at him or not. Ederson could not legally handle the ball because he was out of his area so he HAD to use his head. If Mane had known that he would be sent off, he would have been far less likely to go into the challenge with his foot at head height. If his manager had known he'd be sent off, he'd have had no right to blame Mane for not going in with his foot raised.

The rule is there to PROTECT PLAYERS FROM SERIOUS INJURY.

Ederson could have lost an eye, suffered a broken jaw/cheekbone or fractured skull. It could have ended his career. How would Mane feel about it then? Remember Petr Cech?

Once players, coaches, managers, commentators & pundits understand that such a challenge means an automatic red card, all the players will be safer & we won't have to put up with this shit any more.

Could be a while

Danny Kelly making an absolute twat of himself on talkshite over Mane, Matt Holland and Simon Jordan trying to get through to him but he's spluttering and spitting bile like i'v never heard before, never really had him down for a City hater

Graham Poll was excellent and put Lineker,Shearer and Wright in their place. He slagged them off for wrongly influencing youngsters with their twitters...
