Quite strange. Last couple of times I've been on the daily mail website there had been a man city story. First an interview with stones, now something about mendy and Instagram. Also there are actual city stories throughout the page too. It's quite strange

Boring to some or not, the situation is now after yesterday cast in stone.

Man City are all alone at the top of the league. Prior to yesterday if the league had ended they would have had to go through a whole gang of situations to decide the rags were winners because their aggregate height was 0.03 " above ours.

League ends today, City are winners & champions. As gpc would say, no doubt about it.

In all honesty our defence can be abit suspect at times but it is no worse then any of the other top team we play attacking football that will leave us open at the back at times. Think palace maybe had three decent chances in the whole game last season they would have scored twice, ederson is so vital for us as we play such a high line.

It's every single pundit on all channels,all papers and talkshite,it's a lazy narrative that one starts and the others repeat,they have no more understanding of the way pep has us playing now than they did at the start,they have no interest in learning either

Oh come on, what they said is perfectly correct. It is the same at the top. You're really trying to find offense where non exists.

Not quite true though, last week on radio 4's monday morning news, they were at quite the pains to tell everybody that City were top only because C come before U in the alphabet, seriously this is on the flagship news program with Humphries etc
