He's had something against us for a while now, so no surprise. I think it's mainly because City fans call him out online for his hypocrisy. Add to that he originally said Pep was nothing special, so much like Alyson Rudd, he's backed himself into a corner and can't get out of it without admitting he was wrong.

Very complimentary piece from one Simon Curtis...well worth reading the whole article

...John Stones, the very epitome of the elegant continental sweeper, hardly ever has recourse to haymakers anymore. His tall frame could be seen swaggering through Arsenal's midfield on more than one occasion at the weekend, while centre-back partner Nicolas Otamendi, that same Otamendi, who had spent the previous two seasons flying horizontally across the turf into one ludicrously mistimed tackle after another, was busy dissecting Arsenal's middle orders with arrogant wafts of his left foot...

Mind you, less than 6 months ago he wrote:
‘There are plenty going overboard about Tottenham right now. And, as they head into the North London derby with Arsenal today, Spurs seem to be everyone’s darlings. With a season at bogey ground Wembley beckoning while the new stadium is built, followed by the 2018 World Cup which will put Kane and Alli in the global shop window, trouble definitely lurks.

‘Last season, they managed to finish third in a supposed two-horse race. And while this term they look to have more steel, greater experience and a hunger to make their mark, they will still almost certainly finish empty-handed yet again

‘Two near-misses is just about acceptable given the age of Pochettino’s team. But three in a row would surely border on wastefulness. Because for all the back-slapping, the reality is that right now there are still lots of ifs, buts and maybes about Tottenham.’
To be fair to Stan, I'm not sure why we should expect 'thick footballer' to somehow morph into 'erudite pundit' by stopping playing football!

I think you will find these are the ramblings of a man mentally ill. Now I'm not taking the piss out of people with mental health issues, far from it, but just reading these last few posts highlighting his comments it's quite obvious he's all over the shop.
Personally I'd get myself sorted out and get the correct treatment before I hit social media with these bizarre and contradictory outbursts which leave him wide open to criticism and ridicule.
