Looked it up? Whilst I have a questionable line in opinion, I would never post a spurious fact..I've just looked that up, pal. Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction!
I did so for reasons of amplification, not confirmation :-)Looked it up? Whilst I have a questionable line in opinion, I would never post a spurious fact..
That makes me feel better! Surprised they chose a former member of culture club as his replacement...I did so for reasons of amplification, not confirmation :-)
CB LB and Sanchez in Jan
Liew's article is not an example of anti-City bias or an attack on our owners but an amazing attack on all owners at all times! As he writes, "The point is this. The sort of person who wants to own a football club these days is exactly the sort of person you do not want owning a football club." For a Chief Sports Writer to pen such an article defies belief. Perhaps reporters should be judged on a range of acceptable attitudes as well.
I agree, maybe the quality of media owners and the journos they employ should have been included in his resume.
Obviously he is in the wrong job and perhaps should try political matters to write about.

Funny he doesn’t mention how the rag owners stripped the club’s assets leaving them in debt for a decade
He also fails to mention what our owners have done for Manchester, prefering instead to have a sly dig at Bernstein. M/cr City Council did not have the money to improve large areas of run down Manchester. The Government (Labour, Lib Dem/Conservative, Conservative) have the money but would not spend it so does it matter that an Arab chose to spend his money doing what Governments wont and councils can't ? Our owners are no doubt making a profit out of renovating slums and run down areas but what is so wrong with that ? They have had the sense to get Bernstein on board for his wealth of knowledge that will make the project work quicker and better, what is not to like about that ? What is dodgy about that ? What is wrong with making Manchester a great City ? Fuck all thats what.
